The perfect place to stay while visiting Jefferson. I can highly recommend! Things we enjoyed the most were the peaceful and serene location - it’s near the end of a quiet “no thru” street, the surrounding neighborhood streets are lined with beautiful old homes and is conveniently located near the dining and shopping in the cute downtown area (we rode the bikes) The room was very quiet and comfortable and extremely clean - we never heard our neighbors, the bed very comfy, the coffee maker, fridge and microwave a plus. Our favorite part of the stay was the bicycles! We enjoyed our morning ride into town for breakfast.We don’t have any complaints about the cottage, the hosts or Jefferson. We had a wonderful weekend!

Loved this lodging we stayed at while visiting Jefferson. The place was clean and absolutely beautiful. We would visit again if we are in the area.

Cute place and location but just not for us. We were in the Lorraine room. The bed was very uncomfortable and terrible pillows. We hardly slept for 2 nights. And every time a nut or limb fell and hit that tin roof during the night it scared me because it was so loud. It shares walls with 2 other rooms and you can hear everything from phone conversations to unpleasant bathroom sounds. Looks just like the pictures but just wasnt comfortable.

If you are elderly, or have any disabilities, this is not the place for you to stay. The bed is extremely high, and the bath tub/shower is tall and hard to get your leg over, along with the tub being very slippery, and no place to hold on to. The room smelled really musty when we arrived, and the smell stayed throughout our two night stay, even with my BBW spray.

Great Place To Stop Before Back To DFW Area

My wife and I had just driven many hours from southeast Louisiana near Mississippi state line after my father's funeral. We have driven along I-20 many, many times between DFW and southeast LA to visit folks, but had never ventured far off the interstate. This time we thought it was a good time to rest for the night before heading back home. Thankfully, Zach had an opening in one of his cottages for the night of our long drive and one more night. We took those 2 nights and it was just what we needed. We had always wanted to check out Jefferson. We had 2 good nights rest and ate some good food while in Jefferson. My wife also purchased a print from Ron Atwood at his gallery.
