We have stayed at this property for 5 years!! It is perfect for our Girls Weekend! Edward is an awesome host and responds very quickly if you need anything!! We love the large kitchen to hang out in and the patio/fire pit is so nice to sit around on our cool nights!! We will be back. All the beds are very comfortable and we enjoy all the bedrooms for privacy.

We enjoyed the Kansas eclectic decor with fun vintage items. We were happy to have comfortable spaces to sit and visit. Kitchen nicely appointed- had the tools and dishes we needed when we “dined in.” We appreciated having the room fans to gently supplement the AC. Good to have plenty of towels both kitten and bath. Our host Ed was quite responsive and helpful.

I’m glad you joined your stay other than the beds, we will work on this in the future. Were they too soft, too hard, in what way were they uncomfortable so we can try to correct this for a future guest. This is the first that we have heard of this we definitely want our guests to be comfortable during their stay. I hope you did enjoy all of the free amenities during your stay, and thank you so much for staying at Kansas escapes and your feedback is truly appreciated.

Spacious, clean, convenient

Very clean and spacious property! Convenient location. Great outdoor lighting and very easy to find. Our group of 5 enjoyed cooking breakfast in the spacious kitchen. Many wonderful amenities throughout the home and decorated to make anyone feel welcomed. The beds and baths were also very clean. Most of our group preferred softer beds but we were able to sleep comfortably. The host had a great welcome package for our group. We REALLY enjoyed our stay and will return if our travels bring us back to the area. Thank you!

We recently stayed at Kansas Escapes in Topeka, KS, hosted by Ed, during an incredibly difficult time for our family as we gathered to say our unexpected final goodbyes to my sister-in-law.The home was truly everything we could have hoped for and more. It became so much more than just a place to sleep—it was a space where our family could come together, support one another, and find moments of comfort during a very emotional time. When our plans unexpectedly changed and we needed to extend our stay, Ed responded with genuine kindness and compassion, graciously helping us make the necessary arrangements without added stress. That level of understanding meant more to us than words can express. We are deeply grateful for both the home and the care shown by our host. I would absolutely stay here again should the need arise, and I highly recommend Kansas Escapes to anyone looking for a welcoming and supportive place to stay.Thank you Ed from the bottom of our Hearts!
