Cod Creek is a wonderful cottage that has everything you could possibly need for your stay! Right on the creek with a fabulous view, screen porch, fans, fire place and a pit!!!The crabs were jumping in the crab pots! We were so lucky to have found this special place!

Was a great trip property was clean and well stocked. Beds where comfortable and all linen and towels provided. Could use a few more beach towels, we were a group of 6 and there were only 2 beach towels. Only issue was had nothing that was in the control of the property but there was a large amount of jelly fish around the dock which made swimming off the dock impossible. The owner did say this was a seasonal thing so they aren't always there.

Like have a private river! We stayed for a week, and didnt see anyone else until Friday. The house was great, access to the toys were wonderful.Highly recommend a stay here!

Great Place

We enjoyed our stay at this property! The host was accommodating, friendly, and hospitable. The house was comfortable and well set up. Would definitely reccommend this rental and would definitely rent from this host again.

We had a great time staying at the Cod Creek Cottage! It was quiet and relaxing. The house was very clean and well-appointed. We had everything that we needed. The host was very communicative with us before and during our stay.

Great house

This house was great. It has everything you could want and it is clean. Absolutely no complaints. If we come back to the area, I would definitely stay there again.

Very nicely equipped and clean property on a quiet street. Our stay was quite comfortable. Love the multiple dens for hanging out. Check in/out was super easy. Andrea is a very responsive and helpful host. We really appreciated her nearby restaurant recommendations and the complimentary snack basket was a really nice touch. I wouldnt hesitate to book this property again next time I'm in the area.

The ideal spot

This place is so wonderful. Andrea has thought of everything. Coffee on the dock was the favorite. Cod Creek Cottage is instant relaxation.We were sad to leave and would love to come back again.

Great Lakeside Retreat!

My husband and I planned a last min. Memorial Day weekend trip and consider ourselves so lucky that we were able to book Cod Creek! Leslie was super responsive prior, during and after our trip. Beautiful location right on the bay with kayaks, fire pits and grills! We felt very relaxed and cannot wait to visit again! Plenty of room for families with younger kids as well. Thanks Leslie, we had a great, great weekend!

Beautiful and clean

We had a wonderful stay at Cod Creek cottage! The home was impressively clean and well appointed. We were welcomed with a s’mores basket and bottle of wine which was a very nice touch. The fireplace was wonderful for the chilly night temps. We loved the smart TVs, kayaks, fire pit and beautiful dock with a bench. A lovely pls r to stay on the water.

Great getaway in the Northern Neck!

Our family had a wonderful experience at Cod Creek. The home exceeded our expectations! We had so much fun playing games in the screened in porch, cooking meals together in the fully stocked kitchen and fishing, crabbing and kayaking right off the pier. The host was very responsive and had thought of everything to make the stay a very comfortable and enjoyable one. It is obvious how much they care about their guests. The beds were even made when we arrived! I would highly recommend a stay at Cod Creek!!

4th of July get a way

Very clean property.. gorgeous views of the water... easily accessible to dock your boat. Host was very considerate, easy to get a hold of and very accommodating. The shower on the second floor is very tiny so not ideal for tall people or if washing kids- the first floor shower is just wonderful and luxurious!! Sound machines in every room was a wonderful touch!! Thank you so much- it was a great week at your house!

Overall it was a lovely place to stay. Owner is very responsive, provided a welcome basket of snacks and drinks, and a home that was quiet and comfortable. This being our first trip to the area we discovered that Mondays are difficult for finding open restaurants for dinner. We were thankful for the dollar general stores providing frozen pizza! The private dock was lovely for sharing a moment, sipping coffee and watching water and sky.River Wing Guide Services Fishing Charter provided a wonderful evening fishing trip and Chandlers sporting goods store in Kilmarnock is a much needed spot to visit. Very close to the Tri Star local grocery store. We hope to plan another visit soon and make use of all of the amenities this home offers.

Reedville

The house is comfortable, crisp, and clean. Lots of living space for separation (we were only 2 but great for a family), comfy beds - though maybe some nightstands upstairs would be nice. It's an older house with smallish upstairs bathroom/shower but the linens are incredibly soft and everything is functional. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped. Everything you could want, including a dual Keurig for pods (supplied) or pots of coffee. The snacks provided were appreciated and the paper products being supplied were a nice surprise. Fantastic, screened porch and lovely, private waterfront view. Will gladly return if visiting the Northern Neck in the future.

A perfect spot to relax and enjoy what feels like a very private view at the quiet end of the creek, where you can paddle around the immediate area to enjoy the natural shoreline across from the cabin. The game room off the main bedroom males a great theater night spot. The cabin is tastefully decorated and offers everything you could need, even if you didn't know you needed it! A lot of thought has been put into all the little extras, and Andrea is quick with a friendly response to any inquiries you may have before and during your stay.
