Perfect quiet beach get away

We took our family for a perfect beach get away, we loved our stay here!!! Close to attractions yet quiet and relaxing!!!! We would go back again for sure!!

Great vacation home

The home was very nice, roomy and very comfortable. The beach area was great and the fish were plentiful. We had a great time and loved every minute in the home. We had 10 people and it never felt cramped. The back deck was great to sit and relax and watch the water. Loved the home

Peaceful Retreat

My sisters and I brought our mom here for her 80th birthday. Great place with great views. The pier was a bonus to go out and attempt fishing. Overall we really enjoyed your property and will definitely be back. Thanks.

Great views and lots of space

This was the perfect location for our family to have a quite weekend with some extended family. Lots of things to do on the water and space to spread out in the house. Really enjoyed the large windows overlooking the water. Great dock for fishing and crabbing. Had a great time. Thanks!

Awesome home! Awesome location! Awesome hosts!

We had an excellent trip. The home is well furnished and is in excellent condition. All the amenities of home. We loved the location and spent a lot of time on the dock. Wonderful trip at a wonderful home. Hosts are awesome and very easy to contact and are very friendly. We would love to stay here again. Highly recommend the home!! Very clean and in wonderful condition!!

Family together time

My mother, sister and children spent 3 nights in the open ranch overlooking the Neuse River. The house was located in a quiet neighborhood.we spent our mornings watching dolphins and playing at the waters edge. For dinners we drove the half hour to New Bern with several great restaurants and cute downtown. We also took the 20 minute ferry ride to Morehead City side for shopping. It was a quiet and beautiful stay, perfect for family time.

Perfect view

Rooms are large. Great view from living room. Bar was a favorite spot for boat watching. Kitchen was well supplied. Wish we had more time there. Right down the road Gary's down east seafood had some of the best fried fish. Would highly recommend this house.

Relaxing

Relaxing spot and convenient boating. The dock and access to the boat ramp was really nice. Lots of fishing opportunities although we didn't catch much. However we had a great boat ride to Oriental to spend the afternoon . The sunset riding back up the Neuse to the cottage was spectacular. Thanks

Great family vacation

This is the second year to stay in this property. We love the convenience of the neighborhood to the ferry. It is a quiet neighborhood and you can’t beat the house being right on the water. We spent every morning and evening fishing off the dock. We saw jellyfish, sting rays, and lots of different fish (mostly speckled trout and flounder). The house is clean and the furnishings are quite comfortable. We definitely recommend this property!

Well needed getaway with our parents.

I try to always to pros and cons because nothing is perfect. However, from the time we walked in the view is amazing and it all was perfect. The home is stocked with most supplies you will need. The host is very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The beds were comfortable and neighborhood is quiet. I can see why it’s a 10/10 rating.

Amazing!

Home is exactly as listed. Well equipped and incredibly beautiful !!! The fishing was phenomenal. We spent majority of our time on the dock. The sandy beach was great and the water nice and warm with a sandy bottom. The host was great to communicate with. I just can’t say enough about how great our experience was!! Private "beach" getaway in a beautiful home with all the necessities!

Our group included 4 young kids, 2 of which get easily overwhelmed in all the chaos of going to a public beach. Having this private beach right there in the back yard made for the best beach trip we've had! The waves were very small, so it was a great alternative to the overpowering waves at an ocean beach. The kids had an amazing time, we adults loved the kayaks and that we didn't have to haul a huge wagon of snacks and drinks down since the house was so close! The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cups, plates, pans, etc. House was clean and tidy with an unbeatable view. We plan to be back!

The hill from the house to the pier is pretty serious. The only downside to the location is the availability for food on some days. Most of the local places to eat close early and aren't open some days unless you cross the river. Takes planning.

Great Holiday Getaway!

We went to Minnesott Beach to join in my in-laws for Thanksgiving. And fell in love with the area, the view, the house. Comfortable accommodations, amazing water, sunset, and sunrise views. 5 stars all around.

RELAXING

We had a great time! The water view is beautiful from inside as well outside. We had such a relaxing time. The dock is amazing at sunset and great for fishing. Also enjoyed kayaking (bring your own paddles and life jackets) and relaxing on the deck while watching the wildlife. Definitely recommend! Hope to return in the future.

Beautiful Setting for Family Trip

The property and layout is awesome for families! We enjoyed many hours on the dock or in the water at the small beach. We had great success fishing here, and caught red drum, sea bass and bluefish along with some shrimps, crabs and bait fish. The kitchen was nicely equipped for meals at home. Will stay again!!
