It's fantastic that you found the shuttle service dependable and on time, and that dropping off and picking up was easy, especially with one member of your party not skiing. Thanks for your feedback. Given the topography, all properties within 1/2 mile of the Highway will experience some level of road noise. This home is certainly ideally located within the resort community with easy year-round access to a prolific array of amenities, trails networks, the ski area and open space.

We apologize for the issues you encountered with the grill and the noise from Highway 550. We understand how important it is to enjoy the beautiful surroundings in peace and quiet, especially during a relaxing evening on the deck. We will address the condition of the grill immediately, as it should have been in proper working order for your stay. While the home’s central location between Durango, Silverton, and Ouray offers convenient access to these incredible destinations, we regret that the proximity to the highway affected your outdoor experience. We appreciate your feedback and will work on providing clearer descriptions for future guests who might be seeking a more tranquil setting. We're so glad you had an enjoyable stay :) There is hard water in the entire area and we provide a bottle of Lemishine for use to help combat the hard water stains and it works really well! They are clean dishes the water just leaves stains sometimes. Please call us if you arrive and do not have any Lemishine and we are happy to bring it to you. We're glad you were able to enjoy all of the fun activities at Purgatory Resort as well! It was a pleasure to host you and your family and we hope you come stay with us again soon!

We sincerely apologize that the clothes dryer and dishwasher were having issues during your stay. I know it is inconvenient to not be able to clean clothes when you are out being active all day as well as having to hand wash the dishes. We do appreciate you letting us know and we have our appliance tech coming to fix both the dryer and dishwasher when they are next available on 8/18. Again, we are truly sorry these things came up during your stay. I wouldn't want to deal with these issues on vacation either. We were glad you let us know you needed more towels so we could bring some additional ones. We hope these issues didn't detract from your Durango vacation too much and hope you had a great time exploring the area.
