Whitefish Chain Review

The house was perfect for our annual girl's weekend trip. The open floor plan and large gathering area in the dining room, living room, and kitchen was wonderful. The host was responsive to all our questions and in a timely manner.

Girls' get away

This property was PERFECT for our girls' weekend getaway. It has a large gathering space both upstairs and downstairs. The little girls LOVED the loft area-which had a door and it's own bathroom. The owners were very easy to work with. We are already looking to stay again next year.

Winter Snowmobiling

Friends getaway

The house was nice. There were a few issues, some dirty dishes in drawers and the grill was dirty. Owners did send someone to take care of grill.

We truly appreciate your feedback. We hold our cleaners to a high standard, and we addressed the issue with them directly and immediately to ensure it doesn't happen again. As a sincere apology for the inconvenience you experienced, we provided full propane tanks so you and your guests could still enjoy the grill and fire pit area. Additionally, to make things right, we issued a $100 refund for the inconvenience of having to clean the grill yourself. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you in the future under better circumstances.

Lovely home on the lake

Everything was perfect, exactly as advertised except there was not spaces available in the garage for a couple of cars. This is a lovely, well-stocked, comfortable, clean home that allowed for a perfect long weekend for our family. Thank you, Conrad and Natasha!

Christmas At Cross Lake

The Ellestad property is a wonderful place to stay for our big family. 8 grandchildren and 8 adults had plenty of room and places to relax and play. The outdoor hot tub was a hit and the many TVs gave everyone the opportunity to game or watch movies of their choice. There is nothing missing for cooking in the well appointed kitchen. Thank you so much for the opportunity to use your beautiful home for our fairy Christmas. I highly recommend this property!

This place is perfect for a big family gathering. Tucked back from the channel between Cross Lake and Dagget Lake, it is very private and quiet. Great fishing off the dock. We rented a pontoon from Cross Lake Rental (ask for Joy) that tied up with no issues because it is not wavey in the channel. The house is huge and very clean and modern. Kids upstairs, adults on main floor. Great rec basement. Hot tub was nice. Workout facility was top notch. Close to Brainerd for fun go karts, mini golf, etc. Great restaurants nearby. 10/10.

Ice Fishing weekend

Stayed at cabin with 8 adults for a weekend. The cabin had plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms for each couple to have separate bathroom. Kichen was spacious and equipped with everything we needed from pots and pans to spices. Cabin was clean and well kept. We enjoyed a bonfire and ice fishing during our stay. Owner was easy to contact and responded quickly to questions and concerns. I would highly recommend the cabin to friends and families. Great Weekend get away.

Great Meeting Place

This was one of our Bi Annual meetings with 10 people. Everyone loved it and was the best meeting place ever. We had issues with the WiFi and I contacted the Cleaning Person and she was very responsive and resolved the issue very quickly. The house was very clean and well kept up. We loved the stay and will be back i'm sure. Thanks!!

Very nice cabin and location

Our family of 15 really enjoyed our stay in Crosslake and at this cabin. Amazing location and size of the cabin. It's located right on the channel connecting Dagget and Cross lakes and having a dock to tie our pontoon up on was a plus. The 3 level layout was perfect to allow separation when needed and the main floor was perfect for gathering. We had all the utensils/cookware needed and there is a fridge on the main and lower levels that provided plenty of space for food and beverages.The beds were comfortable and rooms were adequate. Not a lot of space to put/hang clothes as the house is lived in and closets are understandably locked because they contain personal items. The queen bed on the lower level is just a box spring/matress laying on the floor which should be at least up on a frame to make getting in/out easier and considering the rental price.The workout/gym space was great to use and is something you never really see on rental properties. If you are looking for a nice place to rent in a great location and need the space this is the place for you. The upstairs is a very spacious loft with lots of bed space and a separate tv/hangout area. The basement contains a wet bar, fridge, tv/hangout space and a pool/ping pong table.The only suggestion is to cleanup the inconsistencies in the VRBO posting. This is a 5 bedroom/4.5 bath with a loft. There a 2 down, 3 main and loft upstairs. The additional bed/full bath listed on the lower level was locked.

Amazing Waterfront Cabin!

We enjoyed our time at this log cabin and loved the views right on the lake. The cabin was plenty spacious, very clean and well furnished!
