We had an amazing girls trip!This camp had everything we needed to make our stay great! The camp is decorated perfect! Love all the Louisiana art throughout. We had the perfect staycation!

Great relaxing trip. Very nice place to rest and enjoy the lake. Caught some crabs and fish on the dock.

This home and Property are beautiful and very welcoming and very well maintained. The host are fantastic. We will definitely be back. Fishing from the dock was awesome! My wife caught more fish than our son and myself so we've decided she can't come back with us LOL. We caught speckled trout, white trout, sheepshead, black drum, redfish, catfish and Sting Ray. We had a fantastic time all the way around.

OMG! A time was had is an understatement! This was the perfect spot. The view is amazing! This was a girls trip and we have had a blast. The property is emaculant. If we ever visit NOLA in the near future we will definitely be staying at this property. And to top it off Laurie let us check in at whatever time. Early check in that is. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Don't miss out book today. You will not regret it.

We absolutely loved this lake house and couldn’t believe how close we were to everything Nola has to offer, yet be remote and out of the busy city when we wanted! It was a peaceful stay with beautiful weather, surrounded by all the birds that live in the area. There are wood pilings just off the back of the house that typically had at least 5 large brown pelicans and several types of gulls waiting to be photographed at any time of day. :) It was amazing to sit outside and have breakfast/dinner on the covered porch and enjoy the lake, then head into the city for a fun night out! My husband did a little fly fishing off the platform dock that is attached to the main dock, and we look forward to using the kayaks on our next trip since this trip was shorter. We highly recommend this gem and can’t wait to visit again!

We loved our stay, the kids had a blast fishing, crabbing and kayaking. We enjoyed both the lower patio and upstairs porch. The inside is so comfy and feels like home. Nice and cool inside after a hot day of playing outside. We would love to come back again!

Beautiful south facing balcony, nice and shady in the afternoons. That makes it really nice for hanging out in the afternoons and great views in the morning. Everyone has caught several fish each right from the dock. The Island marina sells bait shrimp and is less than a mile. Rabbits are easy to see in the morning and other birds and wildlife too. Our Kids are in love with the marsh now. The crabs were abundant and the crab traps were excellent. The hostess was the mostest! Thanks Laurie!!

Beautiful home with everything you could possibly need. The furniture was comfortable. Plenty of dishes for cooking and serving meals. The deck and dock were wonderful. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home and perfect size for our family. The dock was awesome. Kids enjoyed catching a variety of fish and an abundance of crabs. About 45 minutes from the city with the bridge out but definitely worth the little farther drive. It supposed to reopen soon I believe. Swamp tour just 5 minutes down the road was great as well. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Our family had a wonderful stay here in March 2026. The host communicated quickly. The house was exactly as described, was clean and the kitchen had everything you would need. We used the crabbing gear and caught 4 crabs. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching boats pass by, the sun rise, and enjoyed the scenery. This was a great place to stay and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area.
