We had a wonderful week at Mercedes’ home. The house was beautiful and comfortable, and Mercedes was incredibly responsive and gracious throughout our stay. Any issues that came up were handled quickly and thoughtfully. We truly appreciated her hospitality and would gladly recommend her home to others.

Beautiful home, great beds, fabulous porch to watch dolphins, pelicans and so many birds…great sea turtle nests along the beach and the turtle volunteers are so friendly and inclusive…saw tracks of baby turtles going to the ocean…close to Beaufort and great restaurants…had a great boat tour with dolphin adventures…will definitely be back…

Our family loved this house! The view of the ocean from the porch is amazing. We saw dolphins swimming in front of the house every day we were there. It was such a peaceful place to spend the week. Mercedes was a great host as well. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great location of this house! We seen dolphins multiple times everyday. Was able to kayak to a sandbar. Host was very quick to message back and answer questions and fix any problems that came about. Would definitely stay here again.

Mercedes' beautiful, spacious home was wonderful for our family of 8! The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was great! We enjoyed the covered main deck and its furniture even in some rain and wind. The views are spectacular from the decks and from inside. The kitchen is well stocked. The beach was peaceful, wide open, and walkable in both directions. We really appreciated the beginning paper products, cleaners and trash bags too. So helpful. Good restaurants, seafood market, and groceries were just 15-20 minutes away. Thank you again, Mercedes, for being such a responsive, engaging host!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful vacation staying in this property. The beachfront location was both beautiful and so convenient - just a few steps to the water. We saw dolphins everyday. The light surf was perfect for young children to play in. The house was spacious with plenty of bedrooms but also quite cozy. We spent a lot of time in the back deck - it’s covered and provided a shaded spot to look at the ocean. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We had a great experience!

“We had a wonderful stay at this beach house and couldn’t have asked for a better host. The homeowner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and so easy to work with from start to finish. Everything was well thought out—there were plenty of towels, clear instructions for entry, and parking passes ready for us, which made arrival seamless. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. We truly appreciated her hospitality and would absolutely stay here again!”

Great location for a family beach trip!

Mercedes, the host, was wonderful! The house is in a great location for a relaxing family beach trip. The waves are not too rough and the beach is quiet and not crowded at all - perfect for little ones!

Beach living at its finest

A wonderful place on the beach with dolphin sightings several times a day and the feeling like we were on our own private beach for most of our stay!

Second year to visit. This location is just excellent. Front row at the beach. Relaxing time in April. Local markets to cook in. Great options to go out. Missed the Gay Fish Co because they were closed for remodeling. Kitchen is adequate. I bring my black iron for proper frying. Bring your bug spray if no breeze. Noseeum can swallow you whole. Mercedes is very easy to reach and communicate.

My family enjoyed the wide sandy beach, the morning and evening visits by the dolphins, the beautiful Hunters Island, and the pool that was accessible at the Beachclub. Mercedes is a great host, ready to help make a stay more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this beach home.

Great vacation!

Had a wonderful time! The house is perfectly situated on the sound so that you can experience the sunrise and sunset. We saw dolphins up close every day which was such a treat!
