Very nice home and close to town seen all kinds of wildlife while sitting outside loved our stay. The only cons we had while there was the dirt road right out front stayed really busy so it was really dusty and people mainly workers building more cabins down the road would fly down the road and they had trailers and it was really noisy most of the day. Just a tip get food before you come to bring with you the stores are really expensive but convenient but all in all loved the house and Mickey was very helpful and informative in all aspects

The inside of the cabin was beautiful and well described. Because we enjoy the outdoors and were looking forward to spending lots of time on the back porch, we were very disappointed to discover that the home is located on a main gravel/dirt road which is heavily traveled. The patio area was covered with layers of dust, that just kept rolling in from traffic. It seems that the owner is trying to alleviate the problem by growing trees in the front and side yards. Beautiful place, dusty location.

Mi è piaciuto: Check-in e posizione
The house is beautifully built. But the amount of dust from the dirt road is quite a bit more than I expected. The porches and outdoor furniture was pretty dusty because of it. There was not a couch in the living room just two chairs. So if you had planned on kicking back to watch a game, it wasn’t the most comfortable. There were couches upstairs but not the ideal place for me to chill out. I am certain the bed was queen size and not the king size advertised. It was very comfortable to sleep in considering the frame below was 2x4’s. The TV’s were a nightmare to get to work. Needing two remotes and a literal paragraph of instructions for them that failed to work for us. We ended up unplugging the boxes to reset them to get the TV programming to work. The kitchen is the true star on this trip. Absolutely a dream kitchen. All in all I would not pick this house to rent again considering how many other options are available in the same price range. We did enjoy our time out and about the lake and surrounding area.
