Amazing!

What a great little cabin on the river! Firepit next to the river was absolutely amazing. Clean, amenities, everything was great. Highly recommend staying here!

I very much want to give this place a 10. But there are a few easily fixed things that bring it down to an 8. First, the good:Location was fantastic, 15 minutes from Big Sky, and 30 minutes from Bozeman. It was right on the river so that can't be beat. The cabin was clean and easy to find. The TV and appliances worked great. The towels and sheets were fine as well. Now the bad: The couch was incredibly tired. And since it is the only place to really sit down in the cabin, it needs replacing. Also, they need to replace the shower head and bathroom faucet. Both are in serious need of repair. And finally, one of the two the simple plastic Adirondack chairs by the river was broken and an attempt was made to duct tape it back together. Needless to say, it failed. One minor thing, the VRBO page said it had laundry machine, but it did not. No big deal.Overall, we loved the place and think with these few minor fixes, it would be a 10 out of 10 every time. I wish the owners the best.

Great location

This place was great. My wife and I had never been to Montana and didn’t really know the best places to stay, but when we came across this cabin we knew immediately that this is where we wanted to stay. The location is great, within 10-15 minutes of BigSky around an hour and a half to Yellowstone and Lewis and Clark State Park. It was the perfect size for the two us, staying for a week. If we come back to Montana, we will definitely be staying here again.

Gallatin River Fishing Cabin

We had a great and relaxing four night stay in our cabin. The cabin was neat and rustic, with all the necessary amenities to be comfortable during September. There was a small amount of construction/landscaping that went on one morning, but the workers were friendly and we were staying during the work week. Such a cool location.

Positives: clean and great communication Negatives: this place is 20 feet from a VERY busy highway. The noise of cars is constant day and night. You can’t hear the river much less hear yourself think. The noise was so bad we left after one night.

Convenient and comfortable

Loved the cabin! The loft was a wonderful place to sleep, the views were beautiful out back. The front, not so much. We’re assuming the mess of digging in the front is bringing a new cabin. We started out with no coffee pot but we asked for one and one was delivered very quickly. The staging of the cabin on the website was very beautifully decorated with rugs, pillows, bedspreads, chairs, end tables and lamps. But we just got the bare bones. Overall the cabin was centrally located and hope to come back soon.

This property let my family and me experience the rustic feeling that we romatically craved from our very first trip to Montana. It's true that the cabin is close to a main road, but once you're in it, or in the back yard, the enduring impression is that you are in a cabin in the woods. We had an amazing time!

Hiking vacation

The view and sounds from the riverside porch were amazing. We enjoyed the bonfire pit and river. The lawn furniture could use updating. The adults were 6'3 and this furniture wasn't sufficient. However, the cabin was clean and the location was perfect for the trails we planned to hike and day trips to Big Sky. The windows did not have screens so we could not open the windows in the evening. We would stay here again simply for the views, cleanliness and ease easy access to everything.
