Cute Studio Perfect For 2

The studio fit our needs perfectly. We wanted to get out and see the island. We were able to use the bikes to ride up to the Dockyard and the Railway Trail entrance is a short ride from the studio. The bus stop is right outside the studio and the ferry is only a short walk. We were provided transportation tickets for our first ride so we didn't have to worry about where to buy the first ones, and the post office only a short walk away sold more. We were provided a Google Map of different activities/restaurants across the island which was very helpful. There was also a cute courtyard with the studio which allowed us a relaxing spot to enjoy the outdoors without going anywhere.

Beautiful Studio with Great Amenities

Our stay at Salt Rock Studio was simply incredible. My significant other and I stayed at this studio as a celebration for her completing her first round of clinical rotations. The hosts thought of everything and provided everything we could need to enjoy our stay on the island. They even provided an emergency pair of tweezers after one of us got a splinter. The studio is located in the "Old Loyalty Inn" and it was so much fun hearing locals tell us about their times there. The only word to the wise I would say is to plan your days accordingly. Somerset Village is beautiful but can be a little far from some of the common island locations. A little planning will go a long way for your stay and the hosts will be happy to help. I will certainly look to stay at Salt Rock Studio for my next visit to Bermuda.

Great waterview apartment

Wonderful place to stay in the serene West End. Beautifully renovated and decorated studio apartment across the road from the water. Very comfortable and well-equipped. While the small beach here is disappointing--lots of pebbles--there are other gorgeous, quiet sandy beaches within walking, bus, kayaking, moped, and mini-car distance. Bus stops are right on the corner, so it's easy to get anywhere on the island. Monday thru Friday, the Watford Bridge ferry, a five-minute walk away, will take you to Hamilton in time for breakfast at the French pastry shop a block from the ferry terminal. Jenne and Travis were excellent hosts, giving me my privacy but responding immediately to any questions I had.

Hi! We're Jenne and Travis. We were both born and raised in Bermuda, have lived elsewhere, but returned to the Island. We love to travel and explore off-the-beaten path places, staying at unique Air BnBs along the way.

We recently purchased and completely renovated the property, which is one of the oldest homes on the island having been built in the 1600s! We are excited to now be able to share it with others and to be able continue the property's legacy of welcoming others as an inn.

The Studio is conveniently located in the heart of Somerset Village. Seconds away you can reach various amenities including a pharmacy, liquor store, banks, post office and gym. The bus stop is directly outside the Studio and a ferry stop a 5 minute walk away. The Studio also has an electric vehicle charger if you are renting a vehicle while here.

Fancy a water adventure?
Take the included kayak out to explore nearby secluded islands, swim from the many beaches, snorkel along the reefs, have a picnic, and soak in Bermuda's beauty. Or you can also take a dip or relax on the sand at the beach across from the Studio

Fancy a land adventure?
Take the included bicycles along the nearby Bermuda Railway Trail with it's miles of scenic paved trails for cyclists and walkers/runners, providing access throughout the island (helmets and bicycle locks). Access parks, forts, coves, quiet natural vistas, and take in the many ocean views.

We can also suggest a number of other great locations, local experiences and off-the-beaten path land & sea adventures to help make your vacation easy, incredible and relaxing!

Kayaks & Bicycles
Guests of the Studio can use the kayaks and bicycles free of charge. A great way to explore the neighborhood and beyond!

Bus
The bus stops directly outside of property.

Ferry
The commuter ferry (Watford Bridge) is a 4 minute walk away and runs to Hamilton in the morning and evenings. The Dockyard ferry is approximately 8 minute drive/taxi away which runs more frequently to Hamilton and to St George’s.

Electric Vehicles
If you fancy renting an electric car while here (the only type of rental cars available) we have parking on-site and an electric car charger, so you're all set!

Rental Boats
A great way to see so much of Bermuda's beauty is by renting your own boat! Explore ship wrecks, reefs, secluded islands and so much more. H20 Watersports Rentals is located a short walk from the Studio.
