The house was perfect for our family vacation and was more than big enough for our family of 9. The amenities were exactly as described. We rented the pontoon which was wonderful and I highly recommend. We enjoyed many hours floating off the dock and did lots of fishing on beautiful Wood Lake. The steps off the dock made it so easy to get in and out of the water. We spent our evenings either sitting around the fire or in the screen porch. Brian was great and responded quickly to any questions we had! Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location and spacious rooms and fit our needs great. Overall the house was clean and well kept but unfortunately there were dead mice in the closet of one of the lower bedrooms.

We enjoyed our week in this large, beautiful home on Wood Lake. The kitchen was just remodeled with expansive views of the lake. There was ample room for our group to dine in the kitchen, formal dining room, or on the patio. The lake offered great fishing and swimming. At night, some played pool and darts in the game room while others enjoyed books and puzzles in sitting areas in the house and screened porch. We had several questions during our stay. The owners answered within minutes and resolved problems asap.

This our 3rd year doing a family get together with our adult kids. The perfect mix of relaxation and relatively easy access to activities in the Cities and Duluth. The beautifull house and great kayaking were also a hit. We'll definitely be back.

Great spot for a quick getaway!

Great getaway vacation spot! A hop, skip and a jump from the Twin Cities. The cabin was very spacious and clean. Lots of living space, amazing screened-in porch and yard. We rented the pontoon as so glad we did - great cabin and bald eagle watching as we cruised the lake!

Beautiful stay

We had a wonderful stay! My father brother and I have come up to Wood Lake since the mid 90s fishing. Covid shut down the cabins we stayed in and we wanted to renew our time up here. This property was perfect for that. Beautiful home with everything we could have asked for. Can’t wait to stay again.

A Perfect Lake Week

This was our second year staying at this location and it continues to meet/exceed our expectations. We enjoyed quality family time, relaxing, playing games, kayaking and rides on the pontoon. The boys even got in a couple rounds of golf while the ladies relaxed by the lake. We will definitely look at this place again.

Better than the pictures!

We loved our stay here. Very comfortable and spacious. The pictures don’t do justice to the setting imo…every room on the lake side has a beautiful view of the water. It being October we couldn’t enjoy all the activities but we could tell it would be incredibly fun in warm weather. The foliage was gorgeous!
