Thank you so much for your wonderful review of your stay at Road Runner Lodge! And how amazing that you got a visit from an actual road runner at the pool, that is truly one of those special moments that makes this property so unique! We sincerely regret the door code hiccup at check in and we are glad our team was able to jump on that quickly and get everything sorted for you. We always want arrivals to feel seamless and effortless. We appreciate you noting the stairs for future guests and want to mention that our listing photos and description do accurately depict the layout of the home so guests can plan accordingly before booking. We hope to welcome you and your friends back to Road Runner Lodge again soon!

Hi Scott. Thank you so much for the 5-star review! We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay with us at Road Runner Lodge. It is one of our new properties and our design team took great care in bringing out the charm of this house and ensuring to provide every amenity imaginable for our guests! At A Stay Above the Rest, your comfort is our main goal, and we love spoiling our guests. Creating memories is what we strive for. We try to make your vacation as relaxing and carefree as possible. Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are so glad the location checked every box for your stay, from the hiking trails and lake access to the pool and open surroundings. That is exactly the kind of experience we love hearing about! Regarding the pool and yard services, we completely understand how startling that can be, especially with animals. We do our best to give our guests a heads up whenever possible, however our pool company schedules their visits based on their own availability which can vary day to day. We do mention in our guest guide that regular property services occur during stays and unfortunately cannot always be rescheduled. We hope to welcome you and your furry family members back again soon!

Thank you for your feedback! We are glad you enjoyed the unique 'charm' of our home. While the character of a historic property often includes those classic 'creaky' floors, our cleanliness standards are strictly modern. We are truly disappointed to hear about the dishes; we pride ourselves on a thorough, professional cleaning between every guest, and what you described is certainly not our standard. We always encourage our guests to reach out to our 24/7 team during their stay. We would have loved the opportunity to send someone over immediately to make that right for you. We have already followed up with our housekeeping team to ensure our kitchen inspections remain Above The Rest. We appreciate you staying with us and hope to provide you with a flawless experience in the future!

Thank you so much for your incredible review! We loved hosting you for your weekend getaway! We are so delighted to hear you love this home and location as much as we do! We love how much there is for the family to do together! While we have a strict no party policy, there is plenty of room for small gatherings and hosting those memorable family meals! We love that you had everything you needed for your stay and we love that our incredible team was able to enhance your experience! We absolutely loved hosting you and cannot wait to welcome you back for more fun!

Hello Whitney! Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are thrilled to know that there was ample space for everyone and the availability of pool towels and blankets was appreciated. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the fully-stocked kitchen as we strive to provide all our guests' needs and more! We appreciate your feedback on the flooring, countertops, and stairs and we will notify our Property Care team to have this addressed! It was a pleasure hosting you and we hope to do so again soon!

Thank you for your review! We loved hosting you!
