The Goodland property is amazing and in the best walking distance to the local restaurants. Clean property and lots of great space throughout the house, patio and sitting dock!

Awesome Experience in Goodland for Large Group!

We had a large group of college friends stay here for a long weekend and it was exactly what we needed! Plenty of beds, large outdoor space, towels/showers. Also, walking distance to Stan's on Sundays and a short drive over to Marco Island. Would stay here again!

Perfect getaway

The property was very clean and well stocked with essentials. We loved hanging out by the dock and even caught a few catfish.

Goodland Trip

Property was accommodating for 6 adults. Great walking location to restaurants. Would recommend a thorough cleaning. But all was good and we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home in needs of some TLC. For instance we were unable to eat outside as the picnic table was unusable due to being in bad shape. Printed information about the house would be welcome. Privacy shades would be good for the half bath. Otherwise it is a great place. Very quiet and walking distance from everything.

Fantastic property and location

We had a great stay! The property is exactly as described with all the listed amenities. We rented a boat (from Dolphin Cove Marina) so made great use of the dock. We brought our dog which is always nice when possible. There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance which is something I personally love. The house was also exceptionally clean when we arrived.

Good stay

Clean, convenient and as advertised. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the excellent restaurants within walking distance, enjoyed Sunday Funday at Stan’s and took an informative and fun boat trip from the marina across the street with Florida Adventures. Location was good, an easy drive to Marco Island. Recommend.

The house and rooms were clean and had all of the needed amenities. The host and property management communicate effectively. The only issues we had were the dock has fallen into disrepair in places and 1 of the 4 kayaks took on water and was totally sunk after an hour if you didnt stop to empty the hull. To dock our boat in the far slip we had to be careful which deck boards we walked on and the light was non-operational. All in all the property was a great for the price as is. I wouldnt mind staying there again just need to bring really good bugspray for the mosquitoes but thats SW Florida / Everglades. A few updates and a screened in deck would make it a more marketable property though.

Beautiful and Clean Home

We enjoyed our stay at this home. Quiet neighborhood, not much within walking distance but a short drive to Marco Island. Very clean and updated home. My husband and FIL are big fishermen so they loved being able to fish from the backyard.

Holiday Family Fun

Spent the week here with the family and had the ultimate Goodland Experience. The house was an excellent location to the boat Marina where we could pick up our rental boat and jet skis. The local restaurants were so fun and Mom and Pop feel. We paddle boarded and kayaked right from the yard deck and canal. Not to mention the neighbors are commercial fisherman and brought us crab legs for New Years!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very happy with all, perfect for the boys weekend away.Would suggest that you install grab bars in the tub shower. I am 69 years old and slipped in the tub shower and fell had there be bars I would not have.

I wouldn’t rent again

This property needs a lot of work. The property is on the water but is hard to access because the dock is closed because it needs repaired and the ladders are busted and covered with clams so much so that you can’t get them open. One reason we chose the house was because of the kayaks and bikes. It lists it’s for 10 people and we had seven but there’s only 4 kayaks and 6 bikes just fyi. There is also no where on Goodland to easily get supplies and they only gave us very limited trash bags, toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc. We also had something take some bites out of our fruit that we left out on the counter over night. We didn’t see it but it definitely left it’s mark. I would not stay here again.

Made the best of the trip, weather was not on our side.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was the property description accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc?The description of the property was accurate, but the photos are not. The photos have been enhanced or were taken a long time ago. they do not represent the property accurately. We had a good time, and the property was fine for us, but it is more run down than the pictures showThe basement is not cooled like the upper level, the basement front doors are not insulated and are pretty rough so hot air get in through them and the basement slider door is very old and hard to open and close. Again, the property worked well for us but if the wrong people came in, they may not be happy with those things.Was the property clean and well-maintained?The property was clean, it could use some maintenance. The deck boards are very rough, the grass and yard could use some work, and the hot water tank kicked out several times, blowing the breaker. Did the owner or manager provide good customer service?Yes, the rental company provided good service Would you recommend this property to a friend or relative?No, I believe there would be some better options for the cost What activities, attractions and restaurants did you enjoy?We spent time fishing, going to the everglades, kayaking, shopping, and Marco Island beach. Unfortunately, we had a crazy amount of rain so some of our fishing plans were cancelled and that is why we stayed a few extra days, to try and get a couple good day of weather in.

The house was just as advertised, we had a large group with 8 adults and 1 child. This house fit all of us perfectly and also provided privacy for everyone at night. We took advantage of the bikes, kayaks and beach chairs during our stay, it made our experience that much more enjoyable.

We Loved the the fact that house sits in the middle of 1 Giant lot. You have 2 yards and a full dock on the water to enjoy. We have stayed on Goodland before, but this is the best property we have found.

Reviewer Comments: We were really impressed by this property.Everything was great!Having the downstairs game room and giant yard was a huge bonus.The kids had their own place to hang out, & watch TV.House was clean, had everything we needed, and the Vacation Manager was easy to deal with.We definitely recommend this property. We have been to Goodland & Marco Island before, but this home is our favorite spot yet. Goodland is such a laid back fun spot to visit.We used the kayaks to explore the canals a few times and overall had a great time.Visited Stan's Idle hour, Little Bar & Crabby Lady- short walks from the house.
