We offer flexible check-in and check-out times.

The mountain home is only 25 minutes from the beautiful downtown of Boulder, CO, and 75 minutes from Denver International Airport. With 5 bedrooms (2 king beds, 1 king sleeper sofa, 1 queen bed, and 1 queen sleeper sofa) and 3.5 bathrooms, this house easily sleeps 10 people. The house offers amazing views of mountains and lake / Gross Reservoir and multiple beautifully-designed patios for relaxing and entertaining (with natural gas grill). The location of the house in the Flagstaff neighborhood is Ideal for outdoor activities, such as hiking, road biking, mountain biking, paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, off-roading, show shoeing and cross-country skiing. The house is also designed to facilitate working remotely with multiple indoor and outdoor working spaces with high-speed internet. The beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park is only 60 minutes away. And premier ski resorts of Colorado, such as Vail, beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Winter Park, etc. are about 2.5 hours from the mountain house.

Perfect Getaway for Boulder Visit

We loved this property! The location is close enough to Boulder for a college visit, but far enough to get away into mountain environs. Home was both cozy and spacious (especially with the Nana Wall). Clean, airy, bright. We comfortably hosted a small dinner party. Hosts were friendly, flexible, and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Wedding base

We booked this home for my niec’s wedding weekend. The house was close to the venue (Sunrise Amphitheater). The house had everything and more. The hosts were responsive. The house was easy to get to. I do recommend getting to the location during daylight hours. The view was beautiful! We all loved it!

Wonderful retreat

The house and views were stunning. Everything was really smooth from beginning to end. Khalid was so kind and generous. We were so pleased to learn that he is a musician which was just icing on the cake for us- family that loves music.

Beautiful location!

Kal was amazing to work with. Very prompt response and accommodating with the in-home offers. Beautiful home, plenty of room. We enjoyed the variety of seating locations and use of the kayaks. Would definitely stay here again!

A mountain escape

The mountain house is a great getaway with amazing views and hiking from the home. Boulder is a 30 min drive and the drive is very scenic. The house was very clean and Kal is great at communicating every step of the way!

Stunning mountain views

Our family traveled to Boulder for parent’s weekend at CU. We wanted to stay somewhere with beautiful views and options for hiking. Kal’s place was perfect for us. My only recommendation for those that rent would be to check in during daylight hours. We flew in late and drove up the mountain in the dark. It was fine but a bit stressful after traveling all day. But when we woke we were rewarded with the most beautiful views! The mountains and reservoir didn’t disappoint! And Kal’s place is lovely and comfortable. All guests reported great sleep and comfortable mattresses. We purchased groceries prior to going to the house and enjoyed our breakfast and coffee out on the patio. It was chilly but incredibly peaceful. The property feels very private even though it’s in a neighborhood with a few houses around. We didn’t hear anyone the entire time we were there. We had the use of bikes and kayaks (we didn’t use the kayaks because the reservoir was closed for the season.) We only stayed a few days and felt like we needed more so we could do all the hikes in the area.

Incredible, the pictures do not do justice to this house

Absolutely amazing property, much better than the pictures. The owner takes customer service to the next level, responded within minutes of text messaging. Could not be happier. We love to cook and grill, the kitchen and grilling setup weere10/10. The walker ranch trail loop 5 minutes from the house is great too!

Peaceful and Beautiful Property

Family reunion with young children - we enjoyed the bedroom and house layout. Kitchen nicely equipped - only downside no coffee expresso machine, but this seems to be standard in Colorado. Plenty of trails to hike - we manage some with children aged 2-7.

Better than the photos! Truly beautiful and relaxing mountain getaway

Kal (owner) was the most communicative and responsive owner out of all the several VRBOs we've rented around the world. The house is truly even better than the photos can depict, because they can't convey the airiness, the secluded feeling, the breath-taking views of the Gross Reservoir, or the roominess of the house itself. Everything was so well-stocked and complete, down to even bikes and boats in the garage, that we wanted for nothing. The natural gas grill was a key feature for us, cooking for a large group two nights in a row. The master suite is awesome, with gas fireplace, stunning views, and a huge en suite bathroom with soaker tub and large walk-in shower. I may have missed this detail in the description, but 5 beds actually meant 3 beds and two pull out couches, which were in their own bedrooms fortunately, but our given our ages, we had to draw straws to see who got the pull-outs, and one couple went home a bit sore. It's not easy to have an adult family reunion in an unfamiliar place, but the house and all the peaceful seating and walking options made it a treasured memory for all of us. I couldn't recommend this property any more highly - ten stars.

The hosts are amazing!!!

I booked Kal's place for a few colleagues as we were out in the area to produce an event. The house is huge and very comfortable. Each person had their own and plenty of space to relax after long days on site. Kal was a great host, very responsive, checked on the group often and even stocked the house with lots of food and beverages as our team travelled in and did not have easy access to a grocery store. That made everyone feel very welcome and they were so appreciative. I would highly recommend their place especially for larger groups or multiple families. Also, the views were amazing!!
