It provided a great base location for a large family reunion. Individual bathrooms for married couples were well received. It is close to other venues.

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize that the pool was unavailable during part of your stay. Shortly before your arrival, a severe storm blew a significant amount of dust and debris into the pool, requiring additional treatment to restore the water to our cleanliness and safety standards. While we understand this was disappointing, our team takes pool sanitation very seriously. Rather than keeping the pool open when the water chemistry wasn’t where it needed to be, we made the decision to temporarily close it so it could be properly shocked and tested. We believe it’s always better to prioritize our guests’ health and safety over convenience. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a full five-star experience on your next visit.

We had a large family reunion - we LOVED having a private heated swimming pool and hot tub on property. When the hot tub stopped heating on the second day, Arla the host and Alvaro the maintenance person went beyond to help us increase the swimming pool temperature so we could all enjoy it. Alvaro came the next morning and stayed at the property to make sure things we working. The bedrooms were all well equipped and clean. The kitchen is well equipped for a large group - we had everything we needed! We watched a fun movie together one evening and it was easy to connect to streaming services on the large Tv In the main family room. We played a FUN game of volleyball on the large lawn area. Rode bikes down to the beach, and got raspberry shakes. Very close to the nearest beach. Wonderful and fast communication with the host always. Would absolutely stay again!

Bear lake house

We had a huge family reunion, 60 peopleThis place was perfect for what we wanted and needed. The kitchen area is fantastic with 2 huge dining tables, lots of places for the kids to play I read something about the pools and in our experience the pools were great. Alvaro was amazing, anything we needed help with he was quick to reply. He was there every day checking on the pool and making sure things were great. We had a problem with one of the AC units, we texted him and it was changed out with a brand new one within an hour. Super responsive and extremely helpful. I know it's not typically hot there but we had a hot week and everything was great. Would highly reccomend and would go back for sure.

We had a wonderful family reunion staying at the Inn at the Lake. Initially, we had slow responses from the host, likely because it was off season, but that was remedied once summer returned and we got all of our questions answered quickly.Alvaro was a wonderful help on-site, checked us in quickly and answered all of our questions. He was lovely and kind and available to handle any item we threw at him.The bedrooms were all very spacious. The beds were comfortable. And we absolutely loved the kitchen, dining, and common area living room. Being able to eat together and chat made the reunion, and we were able to have so many fun activities utilizing the dining tables for games, the large living room and giant TV for family jeopardy and slide shows. The little ones enjoyed the playground, and everyone had a great time in the pool. The parents relaxed in the evenings in the hot tub.Perhaps our only complaint was that as a former hotel, the bedrooms all had key card access (with just one key). We could leave the doors open all day with a kickstand so people could come and go freely, but most were not comfortable with this arrangement and people got locked out of their rooms for one reason or another. That part was a hassle, and with small children present, there were added concerns. But in the end, most key related issues were dealt with quickly and without a problem.We would happily return and make use of this great venue for another reunion!
