Stunning location and views, even in a Nor'easter!The place was very clean and had comfortable amenities. The bedrooms were spacious, and the living area was very comfortable. Parking was convenient.

Nice property, however the second bedroom does not have air conditioning rendering it pretty much useless when it's warm outside. Was extremely uncomfortable in that room during our stay.

Amazing views

The cottage on the water was the perfect get away location. Not only was the view amazing, it was also situated within walking distance to many local restaurants. Definitely recommend!!

Perfect quiet spot on the water to relax and take in the beautiful view. Convenient location with several restaurants around to choose from. Would highly recommend!

Cozy Mornings

We really enjoyed our stay in this little slice of heaven on our east coast trip. We love grabbing our coffee in the morning and sitting out on the back porch watching the water.

This charming vintage seafront cottage was just as advertised — and more. Home has been nicely renovated and is immaculately clean. The views from the two large picture windows in the living room were a joy, with gulls, terns, and other seabirds zooming by like an air show. We were intrigued by the nearby uninhabited island, a nature preserve owned by the Audubon Society. There’s ample seating on the spacious back porch and a lower deck (accessed through the unfinished basement or outside) has a fire pit. Front porch has views of Island Cove.It’s a quiet, restful retreat from the hustle of Newport (a 20-30 minute drive). Interesting neighborhood — called Island Park — a mix of seaside mansions and tiny cottages. Plenty of bars and good restaurants within easy walking distance and public beach access. Ample choice of grocery stores, a short drive away. We were unsure of parking on arrival (maybe we missed something?) but found the 2 convenient dedicated spots in the vacant lot across the street. Highly recommend.

The property met our expectations and beyond. The house was charming, appointed beautifully and very comfortable. We chose the house because of its proximity to the water, which was true to the listing. Every moment that we were there we sat out on the porch taking in the view, the breeze and the lapping waves. We would definitely considering returning in the future.

Beautiful Cottage on Water

The house was beautiful and perfect for a small group. We spent most of our time on the back deck taking in the amazing views! The house was clean and well stocked with essentials, and the property owner was very responsive. The neighborhood also has several good local restaurants just steps away, and of course, everything that Newport has to offer is close by. We enjoyed are stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Amazing view

Very sweet little cottage! All recently redone and appointed well. The view from the back deck is spectacular and exactly what we were hoping for. Parking was easy and the owners were easy to communicate with. We loved it. Our only critique would be to have a larger couch in the living room.

What a view!

We spent most of our visit watching the cormorants out the window or on the back deck, when it was warm enough. Although we missed the sunrise, we did enjoy the sunsets. The house was a block away from Localz, which was a great spot for dinner and drinks. The house was very clean, tastefully decorated and had every amenity you would need.

Perfect Vacation Location and Property

Upon arrival we knew it was going to be a wonderful vacation! The house is located right at the beach with breathtaking views and excellent privacy. The inside of the house was also perfect. The comfort rating for us is 100%!! The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful; perfect for long walks along the beach. Restaurants in the area were also great and the kitchen is full of every amenity and cooking "tool" for you to enjoy "vacation cooking." Restaurants are also great! We highly recommend this property!

Charming cottage with magnificent views, great parking, thoughtful amenities. Nicely updated. Great place to relax. My favorite thing to do:I brought my kayak & went out for a paddle early each morning all along the shore. Easy to get your kayak in/out of the water. It does seem to get very windy most afternoons & water can get quite choppy.Loved our stay here.
