Cozy home with lots of beds and room. Very very quiet street in a beautiful neighborhood. Extremely close to the Mizzou campus (less than 10 minutes) and Veterinary Hospital. The host is extremely communicative and available. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Par Four!!!! The property managers were very accommodating and the house was clean and had plenty of room for our family!!! We will definitely stay here again when we come to visit our grandson at Mizzou!!!!

Property was exactly as described and was very clean. Owner was easy to communicate with and was quick to reply to any concerns we had. I would stay here again in the future!

Quiet neighborhood

We loved the location of this property which was close to MU in a very quiet neighborhood. There was plenty of room for our friends and family and the house had all the amenities we needed. We will stay here again!

Great house in cute neighborhood

We were in town for a baseball tournament with friends. It was the perfect house in a great neighborhood that was really nice to take walks around. Also is close the local rec center, which was very nice, as well if staying up on your fitness is a priority. Would definitely stay again when in town.

Great Location

We were in town for the Show Me Games. This was my sons last year competing in the baseball games and we wished we would have found this place years ago. It was perfect for us. The house has everything you need. And the location to restaurants or anything else you may need/want to do was perfect!

Quick visit to COMO

Super cute and very clean! Check in and check out process smooth and simple! We were able to cook a home cooked meal for my daughter and her boyfriend with plenty of space to prep, cook and serve. Very nice patio and yard space.

What a great space for our family to live while we were moving them to Columbia. More than enough room, all the conveniences of home. Nice and clean. Nicely remodeled. Owners were easy to talk to. Hope we can use this house again.

Great accommodations

Everything needed for a home away from home, to fix meals and rest. Being a newbie, I didn't realize there wouldn't be paper towels, toilet paper or hand soap in the bathrooms. There was a plumbing issue in the basement room and the hosts responded quickly and made sure we were accommodated for. Very clean property in a great location, especially for MU events.

This house satisfied our needs for our family to stay in Columbia for a game at MIzzou. Overall, the bedrooms are laid out great and we absolutely loved the shuffle board table.The house is lacking in maintenance and care, and could use a nice refresh. We received a lot of automated email communication, but I don’t think anyone was reading my questions (minor questions about the house), as I never got a response.Good neighborhood that is close to campus- just needs some love.

Mizzou VRNO

Really loved all staying together in this house for moms wkd. The house could have been more clean. It wasn’t awful by any means…however, there were bags and bags of garbage in the garage, old food in fridge… no garbage bags for us. The dishes and kitchen stuff is very old and worn. Kind of a mix of people’s old things. I know it’s a college town… but, updating a little could go a long way. It was very easy to book, check in prices couldn’t be any easier and the house itself was nice and had a great back porch.

Great space, poor communication

The space was perfect for all 8 of us. The coffee provided was kcups but the kcup maker did not work. Contacted owner on the app with zero response. Fortunately there was a pot maker. Bought coffee for the rest of the stay. Went to do laundry and there was a comforter in the washer. Contacted owner via app regarding what to do with it, no response. Winter storm came unexpectedly, had to leave a day early, no response.

Garbage in garage

When we arrived there were 10 bags of garbage in the garage which caused the house to smell. Fruit flies were abundant in the house as well, coming from the garbage through the cracks around the door. After sending a message to owner, garbage problem was not taken care of. There were also no knives to cut items with for cooking. Everything else was great.

This VRBO has had multiple issues and I would not recommend anyone I know to stay here. First of all, the house looks NOTHING like the pictures. It is not clean at all and the location is a little sketchy. Us girls were nervous to stay there. We walked in the kitchen and saw hooks in the ceiling over the stove, not in the pictures. There were DIRTY FOOTPRINTS on the countertop along with other signs of not having been cleaned. The oven had a dirty pan with pizza stuck to it in it. Ants were crawling all over the countertops as well. And there were moths, flying insects, beetles coming in from the cracks of the windows. One of my friend woke up to a bug crawling on her face leaving us to believe the beds are not clean either. The place overall has not been cleaned in a long time. The rugs on the floors are dirty. The handle on the shower in the basement is broken. There was no trash can in the kitchen to be found. The fridge was dirty and there were splashes of something on the walls. The man I have been contacting has been telling me he isn’t the owner and that it is some other person that I cannot get ahold of. Meanwhile his name is on the groceries he had delivered while we were staying at the house and he is listed as the owner. Also, to top off my whole entire experience prior to all of this they had me cancel my originally scheduled vrbo a week and a half before the trip and schedule this place which they charged us an extra with no explanation.

Terrible experience - Do not believe the pictures!

To Whom it may concern, Before I leave a review or contact VRBO, I wanted to make you aware of the conditions we found at the house. We arrived late Sunday evening 8/18/24. We were unable to stay in the basement due to dampness and smelling like mold. It is apparent that the basement had recently had a water issue. The condition of the basement in no way matches the pictures represented on the VRBO listing. Flooring and baseboard had been removed and it was apparent that the basement had recently had a water issue. Also, the bedroom in the basement is a walkout with a door and window next to the bed. The door does not have any type of curtain, shade or drape on it to give any privacy while in the room. Due to the condition of the basement we had to use one of the bedrooms upstairs which was fine, but the bed was awful. It was a worn-out mattress that had a mattress topper put on it, but the actual mattress sucked! No support and sagged into the middle - this was the best double bed in the house. The mattress reminded me of the old mattresses that my grandma had in her upstairs that the little kids were expected to sleep on. A couple other things....the hand rail down to the basement is broken off, the carpet by the back door is disgusting (dirty and damp), the garage and kitchen smelled like someone had been smoking in them, and in the main floor living room the ceiling lights do not work (it looks like they are non-dimmable LED bulbs put in a dimmable switch circuit.

Jeff, I’m sorry for your experience. Unfortunately, before your stay we did have a small water issue. Our cleaning staff was able to get it cleaned up, sanitized, and ready to go for your stay. I apologize if it wasn’t up to your standard. Some of the flooring was pulled up as we were preparing to break up concrete immediately following your stay in order to fix a plumbing issue. Since your stay, we have fixed the plumbing and installed all new flooring upstairs and downstairs. We are waiting for mattresses to be delivered to change those out and have addressed the other issues you have mentioned. While I wish you would not have had the experience you had I appreciate your feedback as I’m confident that future guests will really enjoy the house and should you ever be back in Columbia I think you had have a new opinion of the house. Thanks
