Great hideaway

Very convenient to Main Street, but not too close. The house is beautiful, very modern and comfortable. We'll definitely stay again!

Great for girl’s weekend!

This was a great place to stay. It was a group of 4 women looking for a quiet getaway. Well decorated, clean and spacious. The location was perfect and close to shops and restaurants, and just a 25 minute drive to Enchanted Rock. We would definitely stay here again!

An unforgettable girls trip

The place was easily one of the best VRBO that I’ve stayed in, and would definitely book again in a heartbeat when I go back to Fredericksburg.

Great place to stay

Stayed here for our annual girls trip. The location is great and easy to get to main street. The house is very cute and well maintained. We had everything that we needed. The keurig coffee maker stopped working while we were there but it was replaced within the hour which was great. We loved everything about the house and would book it again.

Wonderful place!

What a great property! We really loved our stay. Wonderfully decorated and very private. Great backyard. The location is great and you can walk to Main Street. This was the best stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in. It was very thoughtfully done. The cowboy pool is a huge plus and was awesome to relax in. We will be staying here again!

We did like the fact that the house was off the road. Cute house, the backyard needed some clean up and the patio also,but overall we enjoyed our vac and fredrickburg.

Cava House Fredericksburg

Really clean, well fitted and comfortable house. Hot tub was warm, and well maintained. Would not hesitate to rebook or recommend. If you are two couples, then this is a perfect house to rent and with easy access to Main Street. Book it !!

Hot tub enjoyment

The two steps up to kitchen from living room was not noticed on pictures. Curtains or blinds on living room and dining room windows would have been appreciated. Grab bars in both bathrooms would be helpful for seniors. Nice house and we enjoyed our stay.

Only two critiques; 1. Closets need some shelving for unpacking, and more hangers. 2. Keys were very difficult to get all the way into the door.

Enjoyed the Stay

This was a really good property to stay in and would have gotten a higher overall rating, but for a couple of things. The sheets on the master bed had not been washed. We had to take them to the laundromat the next day. Except for the bedrooms, there were no curtains or other window treatments. This was not a huge deal, except during a sunny afternoon the sun shining through the windows and front door was so bright as to be distracting. The hot tub did not come with any operating instructions. I managed to get it working by googling the manufacturer website. Even so, I don’t think it was completely operational as several Jets in the tub were not functioning at all. Maybe I was doing something wrong in getting it started but without instructions, I could not tell.

Hi Gregory, I apologize that the master bedroom sheets were dirty. We have provided housekeeping this feedback and addressed this with them directly to correct this in the future. As for the curtains/window treatments, I will let the owner know to add some to the living room and front of the house. I will make sure to clarify in our instructions on how to operate the hot tub. The jets are not only controlled by the button on the control panel, but there are knobs on top around the hot tub and those help with pressure that comes out of each jet. We appreciate this feedback and I hope you enjoyed your overall stay. Thank you and we hope to have you visit again.

Cute house, love the interior decor, very clean! When we arrived and opened the door it smelled very musty, like a basement. We tired to air it out and it got a little better but not much. It may have been sitting locked up for a while? Backyard patio was cute with the flagstone and cowboy pool and hot tub but the landscaping or lack there of took away from the esthetic of relaxing in a backyard oasis. Landscaping is much needed. Over all it was clean and convenient being a little over a mile to downtown.
