Tastefully remodeled farmhouse located steps away from State and Heartland Trail. Over 2 acres of lawn, newly installed fire pit area, very private, only 1 mile to Leech Lake. Fully stocked kitchen. Go for a bike ride, hike or play some bocce in the yard. Have a campfire with family and friends. A great place to star gaze. Peaceful place for some relaxation.

And it has a windmill!

Deer and wildlife outside most every evening.

Snowmobiling, cycling, hiking, running and walking paradise! Some of the best trails anywhere for outdoor enthusiasts.

Perfect setting and location for guys, gals, or family get togethers!

We loved our stay. It was peaceful and quiet. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The cool breeze coming through the raised windows was nice. We didn't need to turn on the AC. Jon was a responsive host. We were in Walker for our son's fishing tournament on Leech Lake. It was a very short drive to the weigh-in area. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the farmhouse while visit family over the 4th. The proximity to Walker is great. The kitchen is very well stocked and the beds are comfortable. The property is nice and quiet.

We loved our stay, listing is accurate, clean home and the host was accommodating when we arrived to town early and wanted to drop off our boat to go run some errands. He was also accommodating when we needed to adjust our arrival and departure days. We would definitely stay again and appreciate you sharing your home with us!

Perfect place to stay for bike riders since it’s right on the Paul Bunyan rails to trails. Very comfortable beautifully decorated and very close to places to eat. Couldn’t have been better. Host is great.

A perfect getaway!

We stayed at Jon's for 3 nights for our annual girls' weekend trip. The house is beautifully decorated, and stocked very well. The beds were comfortable, the towels big and fluffy, and the house is in a very quiet location, but still close enough to Walker. Check-in was simple, and Jon was very nice. We would definitely stay here again! It was a great experience.

5 Stars - We stayed for our annual fishing trip. Both of us adored this place. It was just what we were looking for. The property owner was fabulous to work with and he reponed immediately to any of our requests. I would recommend this to everyone we know. The home is adorned beautifully. The grounds offer solitude as you commune with nature. All appliance are upgrades. Very impressive property. The property mgr/owner extremely responsive to any of our inquiries. Looking to come up to Leech Lake this is the place to stay

We recommend this property heartily. Comfy beds, clean, everything works well, firepit and firewood stocked, and very quiet. The host communication was great. Single car garage to store our bikes. More than we expected.

Perfect Blend of Rustic Charm & Modern Convenience!

This is a true gem in the Northwoods! I have been in Real Estate and owner of long term rentals for over 20 year. My wife owns and operates a gift shop in Walker. Along with our daughter Maddie, we have lived in Walker our entire life and love it.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

I first was going to show this property to a client and when he was not real interested I told my wife we needed to go take a look. From the moment we drove in and saw the big yard and cute the house was, I knew we were going to buy it. About 6 months later and a lot of hard work it was ready. The property is very special to us and I hope others.
My daughter calls it her house!
