Thank you for mentioning the wonderful things about our home and location. It is true we are conveniently located between both Austin and Bastrop and only about 5 miles from Lost Pines Hyatt and McKinney Roughs (Harry Potter Event area).

Such a cute little cottage to stay in. The host has many wonderful little touches (toys, games, accessories,etc) that make you feel at home.

Amazing Stay

We came up to Austin for our formal and this place was awesome. Lots of space for people and great accommodations and a super great host who communicated well! Would 10/10 recommend.

Perfect!

We were in the area for a wedding and this property was perfect! It is decorated so cute and attention to little details was appreciated! The master bath and bedroom were spacious and very nice the guest bedrooms were perfect with a private on suite bath that was very appreciated.

Cute place to stay for a night

The house was in the perfect location. Nothing too far away. House was clean and thoughtfully decorated. Owner was very responsive to messages. Place fit 9 comfortably. I will say to make sure you read the desceiption on the booking. There are more rules than anywhere else we have stayed. But that wasn't an issue for our group as we just needed a place to sleep for 1 night.

Beautiful and very clean inside

The rental is very clean and well organized inside. I have never rented a place with so many rules and over abundance of instructions. It felt a little overwhelming at times. Words like MUST and NOT ALLOWED - all in capital letters feels a little unwelcoming. I will be more careful in the future to read any listing for things like this before renting. The trip was amazing. We spent very little time in the house - just to shower and sleep. We didn’t use any of the appliance's or kitchen to make a judgement call on those things. There was an alarm that went off every 10-15 minutes during our stay. I did notify them when we were leaving so I am sure it’s fixed.

Great Stay

We went into Bastrop for a Dance competition. This location was less than 5 min from the location so it was perfect. The house is off a busy road and we missed the entrance the first time. We ended up in the drive next door. Pulling a small trailer made it interesting having to back out of there. So look for a gate when you turn in. Other than that, the house was very cozy and had everything we needed for our short stay. I’d like to add that Ms Lisa was quick to respond to questions when we needed her. The house had games to entertain, the kids played a few games of chess and tic-tact-toe, a record player( we loved the selection of vinyl.) We even saw several deer on the property n the evening. And the very best thing….each bedroom (3) had its very own restroom! You cant get that at a hotel! We will definitely be back if we have another event in the area.

We seek to have an allergenic free guest house. That means we have very very high standards in our cleaning requirements. After COVID Vrbo and others like them, have drawn the line on those requirements. We do our upmost to tow the line on all cleanliness and germ removal rules.
