Welcome to your Great Smoky Mountains home away from home, Violet! This 3 bed / 2 bath cabin located at the summit of a steep hill boasts of lovely spaces inside and outside as well as an impeccable location just moments from Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and the Smoky Mountains National Park. Enjoy the peaceful starry nights in the hot tub or relax by the fireplace in this secluded, tranquil environment. Ample free parking. Please note the upstairs bedrooms have an OPEN LOFT configuration.

Mountain stay

My family and i enjoyed our stay. The location was good, very clean and Bukola was very attentive and always available. Plus was we did see a bear before leaving in the back yard

Cabin was awesome!

The drive up the hill is a little steep but still easy and once you get up it, the cabin is in such a peaceful spot. Everything we needed was there and the host checked in to make sure we were accommodated. Saw a mama bear and her three cubs, definitely would recommend! We enjoyed ourselves.

Family vaca

We enjoyed this cozy cabin! Great communication with the host and the online description was perfect. Location was great to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We even got to see a mama bear and her babies one morning! Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location

The cabin was very clean, amazing location and amenities. Kitchen equipped, hot tub. We saw a lot bear around there (amazing for us) just be careful at the night with them. We definitely want to come back 🤩

Ok so this place looks like the pictures and is a great way to unplug. However, we had some problems. First, communication with the host was non existant. I sent messages and pictures of damage that we found at the property immediately upon arrival and was never acknowledged. The hot tub was old and beat up and barely moved air out of the jets and had so much chlorine in it hurt to breath. The sinks in both bathrooms are not secured to the wall and move. Any movement upstairs causes the downstairs to echo like crazy. Also, the downstairs bathroom shower cartridge is damaged and barely gets to luke warm no matter how much you turn it, which is to say that it also freespins. The upstairs shower in the other hand gets scorching hot water or ice, it is also tiny, like small RV camper shower tiny. The beds are ok, they are a very cheap foam bed but doesn't offer much support once your bodyheat has softened the foam. There are no extra blankets or pillows, and the internet did not work the entire time we were there which was a problem because cell service up there is like trying ti find a needle in a heystack. We had verizon, att, and tmobile and at best we had 1 bar of 4g at times in very specific spots. A HUGE part of the listing that is left out is how steep the road is to get to the property, it is 35-40 degree incline minimum with loose gravel everywhere. It is a sketchy time getting up at night. I feel like its a bit pricy for what you actually get.

Family getaway

The cabin was small but inviting and comfortable. The driveway is the only minor downside but is or for the course with a mountain cabin. We had a great time! Owner was very easy to communicate with and addressed issues in a timely manner. Would stay again

Do not recommend. Listed as 3 bedrooms-there are 2 bedrooms and a balcony loft with beds-no doors. Some of the inside wood planks had wholes stuffed with some construction grade aluminum foil. The wifi is spotty, even in the cabin don’t even think about it on the back deck. The downstairs bedroom has a TV with no remote. It will turn on but there is no picture. I sent host a message asking about a remote. They never responded but sent a “I hope you are enjoying your stay message” afterwards. The closet in the downstairs bedroom had a padlock so there was nowhere to hang clothes. There were cobwebs in the ceiling crevices. The window blinds have no way to open or shut them. There were spiders and spider webs all over the balcony and the windows look like have not been cleaned since the Civil War. There were hairs in the bathtub. The beds are hard and All Of the furniture looked like it came from 5below-very cheap, hard and uncomfortable. There was a layer of grime under the stove eyes. They then had the audacity to have an envelope in the kitchen labeled “housekeeping tips” when they obviously are not cleaning in the 1st place. I have never seen a toilet seat so small in circumference. The stay was booked for Friday and Saturday, Sunday checkout. We left Saturday after running errands from 9-2 pm. We were gone by 3pm. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Great stay!

The cabin was beautiful and very comfortable. The beds all slept very well. The driveway was very steep which was not mentioned in the description. Beware if the weather is bad! The cabin was perfect for our girls getaway!

Not handicap friendly, had 2 elderly parents and it was very hard for them to get in and out. One had to sleep on the couch due to not being able to climb the stairs. Lights on back porch didn’t work, looked like wires had been chewed through by squirrels, we could hear the squirrels at night in the ceiling running and scratching. Enjoyed the hot tub, grill, and kitchen facilities were nice. Fire place and Christmas tree made for a cozy Christmas vacation. Overall we enjoyed our visit. Very convenient for travel between pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Beds not the most comfortable and needed a thicker comforter or a couple extra blankets for those who are cooler natured.

Cozy cabin

Family vacation, then teens left after 3 days and became a couple getaway. Great cabin. Exactly as described. There’s another cabin across from it but neighbors were great. The teens had fun with the games and we all enjoyed the hot tub. Great location close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Cute place, overall OK experience

The cabin is a comfortable small place that is decorated nicely- you’ll have everything you need for a short stay. We do wish they’d mentioned the steep driveway and that is was easier to communicate with the host (we rent often and usually there’s a direct way, but with this one you have to go through VRBO) - overall though, this a fine experience.

First Family Vacation

Newly weds and first blended family vacation. Only complaint is the location. Although beautiful, the roads especially at night are dangerous. My God daughter Jeep was attacked by a Bear twice. The noise from the construction was unnerving and obnoxious!
