The stay was great. Very clean house and pool was a warm comfort. Plenty of room for all of our guests to relax yet enjoy each other’s company. Bedrooms are very roomy and bathrooms were nice. Feels secluded but close to town for errands and groceries. Would definitely stay again.

Well stocked rental, gorgeous views, in a relaxing setting. Booked this trip for a quick family getaway at the lake and David’s place did not disappoint. Had everything we needed for maximum comfort and minimal stress!

Our group spent a beautiful fall weekend in this beautiful home in a gorgeous setting overlooking the lake. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen of any we’ve ever rented! Plenty of cookware for all our meals together. The hot tub was a nice relaxing addition for an afternoon soak. All the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable for each couple and the living spaces were uber comfy and just right. And the home was close enough for day trips for kayaking on the lane and hiking at Cumberland State Park. Highly recommend All of this!. We’ll be back!

first off the pool the pool was closed the day we checked in and you have to read the small print for those dates, it smelled like cleaner and needed and deep clean, the game room ball goal didn’t work, the front balcony looks like it’s about to fall of, the decks look to have never been cleaned, it did have a nice view of the lake, not kid friendly more like a place for people who like to go and just drink. banks are to steep to get to the lake and you can’t tell from the pictures but it’s not secluded.

To start with the guest requested a full refund because he did not read the description when the pool closed. It's in the 3rd sentence and not small print. I offered 1/2 the refund he refused even thought it was his fault. The steep banks he must of forgot the messages before stay about the steep banks and how he could not fish from the water from our property. Also this is the first and only time VRBO sent a message a day before check in stating i could cancel this guest without a penalty. They must have know something I didn't. His phone number was made up and until he texted wanting a full refund I found his real number. My home is not perfect but it is kid friendly for sure. He is upset because of his mistake of not reading the times the pool is open. Last VRBO agreed not to allow him to post a review but they still did

Excellent view of lake. We especially enjoyed the light show as a storm passed.Drive is step and best to stop and take a look the first time before entering. Really had no problem after looking it over and even had 3500 GMC diesel. So much larger than a car.

My family of six spent 3 nights at this delightful house, 4 bedrooms (2 upstairs are very large), well stocked kitchen, comfortable sectional sofa made watching a movie easy. Very much enjoyed the lake view and the pool. Did S'mores in the firepit in spite of 90 temp!! we rented a tritoon at Burnside marina and had a great day on the lake swimming and tubing. Used the grill and took advantage of the deck. Games in the basement and hot tub were enjoyed too. House is large so we had plenty of room to spread out. Clean and nice bathroom towels. Easy communication with David. Highly recommend. I hope we return. We also loved the round dining room table, Made dinners fun!!

Our stay was a perfect getaway for my family to celebrate our mothers birthday. The host was extremely helpful with anything we needed during our stay and the property is extremely beautiful with plenty activities to do. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area or just wants great views of the lake and privacy.

The view was beautiful and the pool and hot tub were nice. Interior is about 20 years old, but it's very peaceful and quiet. Our daughter loved the pool!

I’m sorry you didn’t like the decor but all the appliances are less than 6 months old and the bedroom furniture is less than 3 years old and the upstairs and lower level were paint this winter as well as the tile floors. The rustic cabin feeling is not for everyone But I’m glad you enjoyed your stay.

Nice Place

We really enjoyed our stay, driveway is steep but manageable, no lake access. Kitchen was very well stocked, enough room for whole family. Great view of the lake.

Family vacation

The house was wonderful lots of space for a large family.Very clean ,nice pool and hot tub with a deck that overlooks to the lake Cumberland it has a nice spot to park a boat at top of property. I would stay there again nice quiet place very peaceful to enjoy family time
