Thank you for choosing our home. We were quite surprised by the low rating, as during your stay you expressed how much you loved the house, and at checkout you kindly mentioned how much you would miss it and appreciated our efforts. Our home already had enough space and beds to accommodate your family, but to meet your special request we went out and purchased two brand-new cribs and two high chairs. We also prepared gender-specific bedding in pink and blue for the children, along with toys, to make their stay feel more comfortable and homelike. Knowing that your little ones might crawl and play on the floor, we made an extra effort despite the tight check-in/check-out schedule that day. We carried out a deep cleaning of the entire 4,000 square foot house, wiping down all the floors with disinfectant wipes to ensure everything was safe and hygienic. In addition, we purchased a new outdoor carpet, disinfected it, and laid it over the existing carpet so the children could play with peace of mind, without parents needing to worry about using a previously lived-in carpet. I would also like to clarify that we do not hand over our home to a management company. Every detail is cared for personally, because it matters to us that the quality is consistent and thoughtful. Our goal has always been to create one of the very best villa vacation homes in Prince Edward Island, and we continually strive to achieve that standard. Although we don’t fully understand the reason behind this low rating, we respect every guest’s perspective. Please know that we will continue to uphold the highest standards and personally care for every detail, so that future guests can enjoy a comfortable, memorable, and truly special stay here on PEI.
