Our stay was absolutely amazing! The house is beautifully designed and very well laid out, making it perfect for both relaxing and spending time together. The kids had an absolute blast in the heated pool and hot tub, and there was no shortage of activities to keep everyone entertained.Between the kayaks, paddle boards, fishing, bocce ball, pontoon boat, and so much more, there was truly something for everyone—even on the colder days. We made so many fun memories here and never ran out of things to do.We would highly recommend this property and would love to come back again!

Ben, this is what we LOVE to hear 👏 Sounds like you guys checked just about every box. Heated pool, hot tub, bocce battles, and a full-on “nobody’s bored” kind of stay. Even better that the colder days didn’t slow you down. That’s when MacDaddy really shows off a bit 😄 We always say the goal is simple. Create a place where families can actually spend time together without anyone asking “what should we do next?” Sounds like your crew nailed it. Really appreciate you guys being such great guests. We’ll have the pool warm and the pontoon ready whenever you’re up for round two 🚤

So glad you loved it Sindy. And thanks for the comments about loving the additional commercial ice makers. My wife calls me "Mr. Overkill" and now I have proof that they're valued! :)😁

Awesome Weekend!

We had a group of 13 adults stay here for a fun kid free weekend away! We had the best time! The property was beautiful! It was clean and well kept! The hosts and property manager were very responsive and friendly! We loved the heated pool, hot tub and the boat. Everyone had a great time and we will definitely rent this house again in the future!

Best Lake House!

We had the best time at the MacDaddy! 3 days wasn’t enough! Everything was perfect. Such a beautiful property (inside and out). Communication with the owners and property manager was seamless. Highly recommend!

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

We have one other homes on Lake Gaston ( Summer Place, VRBO 190715).

Real simple--give large families and corporate customers a place to come and enjoy and not feel like their in a 'rental' type of home.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

There is nothing like staying at the MacDaddy on Lake Gaston. It's simply the best on the lake. It is constantly upgraded each and every month based on needs of guests.

7 additional super Cool things that our guests rave about...

1. Underwater fishing lights - Why hang out on the boat house in the dark? We discovered these dusk-dawn lights on a family trip to the BVI's. They turn dark water into an underwater aquarium at night for all to enjoy.
2. Toys, Toys, Toys... - Paddle boards, kayaks, ping-pong table, pool table, golf range, frisbee golf and more.
3. Pool & Hot tub - Amazing custom saltwater pool with spillover spa will be a fan favorite. Great combination of direct Sun and then late afternoon shade to balance out a long day in the sun.
4. Best Boat House Imaginable - A few years back we discovered the owner of a large stone company had engineered a way to use luxury concrete pavers as a decking solution that does not burn your feet in the hot sun. We asked if we could copy his idea and he was both flattered that he inspired us and thrilled to sell us the stone. :)
Check out the online pics...words can't do this double deck heaven over water justice.
