Incredible location and views!House was so nice and spacious. Well worth the money and much nicer than more expensive options in my opinion.Great place and will return for future visits.

What a beautiful property! We enjoyed drinking our coffee and watching the sunrise through the large windows. Our kids loved taking the boat out and catching fish in the pond- we caught two off the dock. The sky was clear and the stars at night were so bright. I took these photos on my iPhone (unedited). Thanks for sharing your home with us— we loved our stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house and all of its accompanying amenities were amazing. We particularly enjoyed the screened porch and the deck which opened out to an amazing view. The house was clean and well stocked and we would definitely go again.

Overall a wonderful stay! The property grounds are very well kept and the views were stunning day and night. The house contains everything you need to take advantage of the immaculate kitchen, the large fire pit, and fishing on their serenade and tranquil pond. Would book again in a heartbeat — highly recommend!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! This place far exceeded our expectation! We were a group of 5 adults and 2 teenagers (19 & 15) plenty of things to do at this property for all age groups. There are many different restaurants and outside activities in nearby towns. Highly recommend this vacation rental property.

Here’s a warmer, polished version of your review:We had such a wonderful girls’ weekend at this home! It was the perfect place for us to relax, reconnect, and enjoy our time together. A hot tub would have made it absolutely perfect, but honestly, the home met all of our needs and was very comfortable.The hosts were responsive and easy to communicate with, although everything was so well prepared that we hardly needed to reach out. The home had everything we needed during our stay. The sunroom was a bit warm during the day, but the balcony more than made up for it, the sunsets were absolutely beautiful and quickly became one of our favorite spots to unwind.We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back!

Everything was perfect ! Super clean and a perfectly stocked and outstanding kitchen to cook in. The sounds of nature , the view , the house, the fire pit , the pond. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful home in a very peaceful setting.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. There is a perfect mix of things to do (hiking, fishing, playing games) and time to just relax. The view is amazing! Galena is just 20 minutes down the road. Will definitely stay again!

Weekend Get away

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The home is beautiful and spacious. The property is a combination of open grass areas, pond, forest and trails. Everything was well kept.

Absolutely Amazing!

The property was beautiful, had every amenity we needed, and was absolutely perfect for our family vacation! The kids loved fishing at the pond and walking the trails. The adults relaxed by the fire pit and took in the views. It was one for the memory books. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

Wonderful Stay

We would like to keep this place a secret as it was one of our best VRBO experiences. The home is beautiful, spacious, well equipped and overlooking a quiet/peaceful setting. Sarah (owner) was pleasant and prompt in responding to our questions. We'd stay here again and will recommend to family and friends.

Great house in beautiful, quiet location

Stayed at this house for a quick family getaway. Very peaceful, quiet and pretty location, with great views of the rolling terrain from the large windows and the large walk-out deck. This is a beautiful house that is very well appointed with games and activities, and is about a 30 minute drive to Galena. Would definitely recommend/stay here again.

Perfect Getaway!

The house & property are amazing! The views from the deck & all the rooms-also incredible. We were able to watch the sunrise both morning's from the deck. The family loved the lake. Lily pad & kayak were a great addition. House was clean & beds were very comfortable. It was the perfect setting! Highly recommend.

This home and property is everything that was stated in the description. So much room for our 6 adult family members. The home was spotless and had everything we needed and wanted. We spent a lot of time of the deck overlooking the beautiful property and rolling hills. Sunrises were spectacular. We will definitely be back to this property!

Exceptional property, we had zero issues really for the most part. Owner was very accommodating and responsive. We will consider the same property for next years trip. Money well spent!

Great house on a beautiful property just outside of Elizabeth, Illinois. It's a 50 acre property with great views from the house over the rolling countryside. Lots of space to hike the property and let the dogs run, very quiet and secluded. Not too far from Galena (about 30 minutes). Be prepared for lots of bugs.

Amazing getaway

This property was amazing ! Home was incredibly stocked and prepared for every need possible and really clean! We hated to leave it was gorgeous! Owners were very helpful and kind always super responsive to any questions we may have had ! A true Galena gem thank you so much ! We are hoping to be back again in future !

Great stay!!

We got away from the Chicago suburbs for a long family birthday celebration.. The stay exceeded expectations. The house had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was loaded with items you would need. There were nice walking trails and a lovely pond. The place was warm and inviting. Highly recommend!
