My husband and I stayed for a week at the Carriage House, and we absolutely loved our experience. The location was perfect for hiking in Acadia National Park, with restaurants nearby and lots of charming small towns within a 20-minute drive to explore. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. As another guest mentioned, there were condiments, napkins, cookware, baggies, and so much more. There was even an Alexa!Every morning, we enjoyed our coffee outside while taking in the tall pine trees surrounding the property. In the evenings, we loved sitting outside and watching the stars. The garage apartment had lots of windows overlooking the forest, which made it feel peaceful and connected to nature.Paul had thoughtfully left several pages of recommendations, complete with maps, for places to eat and things to do. The best part of the Carriage House, though, was Paul himself. He was quick to respond to any questions we had and took time to meet with us when we arrived to go over things to do and see in Acadia National Park.We would love to stay at the Carriage House again and would definitely recommend it to others. It was a wonderful place to stay, and we are already looking forward to returning!
