This place was perfect for our family vacation! The communication was always very timely and helpful. The house was very clean and nicely set up to accommodate. Location was amazing! You walked right down to the beach with your chairs and umbrellas already set up for you to enjoy. Plenty of food options close by. Lots of activities and shops close too. We highly recommend this place and hope to visit again.

Great space for what we needed. Host was quick to answer with any questions. Would definitely stay again!! So much convenience right across the street. Only thing I hated was how tight parking was, but at least it had it's own parking.

Thanks Morgan. Parking is very tight every where on the beach. At least Sanddollar Unit 1 has a wider available space (50% wider) than other Sanddollar units and can reasonably accommodate up to 4 vehicles. Right across the street there is a shop with ice cream, coffee and bagged ice. There is also a small convenience store and a bike and cart rental shop. And there is a beach shop - actually 2 beach shops within a short walk. Please do stay with us again when you can. Mike

We had a great stay, the house was clean and perfect for multiple families! The location was so convenient with being just a short walk away from many restaurants and shops. The views were beautiful! We would love to stay here again!

Our guests really do appreciate the multiple living areas, private balconies, and direct access to our unit’s private beach front. It is the widest (about 45 feet) in the area as we have a pie shaped lot solely dedicated to our guests. And it doesn’t hurt that we are on what many consider the most beautiful white sand beach in America. Thanks again for staying with us, Mike

We had an amazing time! We have stayed at a lot of beach houses but this is the best by far! We felt more welcome than we ever have. The house and the beach are beautiful and so well maintained. We had three families of three and there was plenty of room. It was nice to have the different levels so everyone had their own space. Then we would meet in the middle for meals and go to the beach! We loved the decks and porch swings! The lower deck is huge and was filled with sand toys, chairs, etc that we were allowed to use (usually these things are not available to guests) Also loved that the linens were included (and they were nice ones too!) Mike also included 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas from the beach service set up for us each day! (Also unheard of lol) He was a great host, he quickly responded to any questions we had and made sure everything was ready for us. The sunsets are absolutely gorgeous here! We highly recommend this beach house and host!

Beach was perfect! The only thing we noticed was the bottom level rooms had a musty smell, but the boys stayed there so they did not mind.

The beach level rooms open directly to the beach and the dedicated HVAC works hard to manage the humidity from beach proximity. And the comings and goings of “the boys” probably made the job even harder. Thanks for staying with us. Mike

The location of this property is wonderful. However, the family room couches were not as appeared in the picture. They were plastic wicker with no cushions. They were very uncomfortable when we hung out at night. This was very disappointing as we like to lounge together as a family in the evening. The rest of the furniture (other than the kitchen table and beds) was out door furniture as well so there was no comfortable casual seating. The rest of the house was great and the location is perfect.

Stephanie, the couches were not in the pictures on VRBO (they are now) but have been in Sanddollar Unit 1 since April of 2024. So about 70 families have stayed with us since we replaced the couches and you are the first to say anything about them. There are cushions that are internal to the wicker - they are just covered by the wicker and not external. These replaced cloth covered couches which weren't appropriate for the conditions inherent in a beach house (swimsuits, sun screen, etc.). If you look at the furniture in other rentals you will see a predominance of vinyl covered couches. Our couches are the equivalent but covered in the vinyl wicker rather than just vinyl. Destin Vacation

First time visiting Destin. The house was in a perfect location. We loved that you could step off your back deck directly onto the beach. Plenty of room for our family.

Paradise in Destin

We were all so impressed with the cleanliness and the well appointed condo that furnished everything needed to have a carefree vacation. Location can’t be beat. Would highly recommend this condo for large family wanting to enjoy the beach to the fullest!

Great Spring Break

This house was perfect for our 2 families' Spring Break vacation: lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. The location was ideal with access to the private beach with designated chairs and umbrellas. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and cooking supplies.

Sanddollar Unit 1 townhome was just as pictured & described. It is well maintained, very clean, and supplied with basic items. Even complimentary mini personal care products in bathrooms. And, The views from each level were amazing!! We loved the direct beach access. This is an end unit which we found to be another plus. It also offers great outdoor amenities. Definitely recommend

Wonderful Week

We had a wonderful stay! The condo is roomy and beautifully decorated. So many decks to eat, play, relax (two lovely swings) and just enjoy the view. My favorite place was the nook in the Master bedroom with your private ocean view.

Great Home for Spring Break

Overall the house was clean, nicely furnished and was literally steps from the beach. The house had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for 2 families with children, and the daily beach chair and umbrella service was a plus. We loved sitting in the swing on the deck and watching the dolphins every morning. I wouldn't hesitate to book this property again.

Great week!

My family had a great week here! We are a large family (10 of us plus two friends on this trip) and everyone had plenty of space, bedroom layout worked great for us. Loved the ease of getting to the beach, straight off the patio to the sand. Very clean!

Cold weather getaway

We were able to get in on time. Communication since the day of booking was quick and professional. Wonderful location with beach chair set up daily. I have already shared this location with several friends since our stay. Can’t wait to book again.
