I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the washer not being available during your 5-day visit. This was an unexpected situation, as the new washer—our third replacement in two years—was scheduled to be delivered two days before your arrival. Unfortunately, the delivery was pushed to the day after your arrival and then delayed again. The new unit, a top-of-the-line Speed Queen, was ultimately delivered on the day of your departure. I did reach out several times during your stay to offer reimbursement and even offered complimentary laundry service, but I did not hear back. I would still be happy to make this right if you’re open to it. Regarding the pool, I’m sorry to hear you experienced issues. When you arrived, the pool was spotless with no signs of any visitors, as I personally clean it before every guest’s arrival. I do wish I had known during your stay t, as I could have quickly addressed any concerns. The situation you described can usually be prevented by use of the pool or placing rafts in the pool, and I would have gladly taken care of that for you right away. I also want to address your concern about the blankets. I will go through all five spare blankets to identify which one you’re referring to and address any concerns. I’m truly sorry if your vacation experience was impacted. Please know that I do everything I can to ensure my guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It’s disappointing when circumstances outside of my control affect that experience and I’m not notified during the stay so I can rectify the issue, but instead only learn about it afterward in a review.
