Cute little cabin. The driveway is steep and I could see how there could be some difficulty getting up to the house during rain or inclement weather. We had no issues. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. The furniture is older, but not terrible. Our favorite area was downstairs where we hung out and played games. The check in process was seamless and we had all we needed well in advance. (Address, door code etc). We would stay here again. :)

It’s wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the cabin and found it clean, cozy, and well-decorated. We completely understand how a steep driveway could be tricky in certain weather, and we’re glad it wasn’t an issue for you. It sounds like the downstairs area was the perfect spot for fun and relaxation, which makes us so happy. Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback about your stay, and we hope to have you back soon. Thank you!

Loving Fall

I rented this house for my my best friend and her husband. The colors were spectacular. The home was beautiful. Everything was close by the most we drove was a hour and a half. I would stay here again. The only down side was the grill was filthy and we had to clean it before using it, we found scorpions in the cabin and the last night we were there some neighbors up the hill decided to start shooting a AR-15 about 11pm it went on for a while. Other than that it was a beautiful place and very relaxing

Mountain getaway

We had a fantastic time. The cabin is very pretty. There is a gas fireplace but it would not stay lit for more then 15 minutes. Back porch light was out so it was pitch black at night by the hot tub and walking to the fire pit area. The batteries in a few of the remotes need to be replaced. We couldn’t use the ceiling fan in the master bedroom because it wouldn’t work without the remote. A few of the electrical outlets have no power to them and the AC thermostat stopped working completely. It got pretty warm in there. It’s a great location. Beautiful wooded view. It is on a gravel road and the driveway is very steep. Just an FYI for future renters.

Slippery slope

The property was wonderful. Everything was clean, attractive and decorated beautifully. We only had a problem with the driveway. It was very slippery after rain and leaves became mushy. We couldn't get up the driveway. We had to park at the bottom. For elderly people it was a long difficult walk up the driveway. Except for that little problem our stay was perfect.

Beautiful Wonderland!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of 5 (children 5 years, 2.5 years and 8 month) had a beautiful Christmas at the cabin! We enjoyed the cabin immensely! The only issues is the steep driveway and after the snow and ice we had concerns about going down the driveway without it being iced. But, the sun came out and it all melted away!

Disturbing shooting at a few feet away

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was good until the next door neighbors got there and started shooting with guns they were shooting for 6 hours non stop. Our kids were scared to go outside needless to say we were supposed to checkout Monday at 11 but ended up leaving Sunday at 6:00 due to that. I was so upset.
Risposta di VrboOwner, il giorno 30 lug 2020
Jorge, I'm so sorry. I really wish you guys would've let us know and we would've tried contacting the neighbors about them shooting guns like that. Unfortunately that home is a private residence and there's not much we can do about that except ask. We've never had that happen before.

Great Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely time in Mountain Therapy. It was the perfect quick getaway for a socially distanced vacation. We had everything we needed to prepare and cook our meals, and the outdoor dining area was perfect for us. The cabin had more than enough space for our family of 6. The kids enjoyed the downstairs area and we enjoyed the master suite. The only issue we found was that sometimes the dust in the air caused our allergies to flare up. Otherwise, we have no complaints and would consider a future stay.

Review of Mountain Therapy

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was beautiful. We were disappointed when we found out that the fireplace wasn’t wood burning as described on the listing. The kids were also sad when the karaoke machine and instruments weren’t available as listed either. The dishwasher didn’t clean well and the coffee machine was nasty, after purchasing the pods for it we ended up going to A coffee shop for coffee due to the condition of the machine provided. The shower curtain liners also need to be changed. We did however really enjoy the fire pit.

Mountain Therapy Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at the Mountain Therapy cabin. The cabin was very nice and lots of room for everyone. We loved the fire pit area. We were a little disappointed that the cabin advertised as having a wood burning fireplace and it didn’t. It has gas logs, one of our favorite things about a mountain stay is having a wood burning fireplace indoors. The cabin also states that there is a Karaoke Machine, Keyboard, Saxophone and Mic but we never found them. The kids were kind of let down by that. All in all it was a nice stay though.

I am so very sorry about the wrong description. I’m really not sure why it had a wood burning fireplace since that has always been gas logs. The new owners removed the karaoke machine etc a few weeks ago and that’s my mistake for not removing it from the description. We hope these things didn’t disturb your trip. Thank you Management
