We truly enjoyed our stay, our jack Russell were happy to have plenty of area to walk. I'm planning to stay there again next spring to walleye and perch fishing. Our host was the best

The property was lovely, as the photos showed. The beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the TVs in each room and the LaZBoy recliner with heat and massage. The kitchen was up-to-date with amenities like a dishwasher, wine cooler, and microwave. We loved the balcony with the great view of the lake. It was rainy, and so we didn't get to enjoy that as much as we would have liked, but the sliding glass doors and all the large windows facing the lake gave us a really nice view, too. We appreciated the coziness of the cottage and the cleanliness.

We stayed here for a week and the home was absolutely lovely. It was very clean, bright, and cheerful, and felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. One especially thoughtful touch was that the host had decorated for Christmas, which was completely unexpected and made the stay feel extra special. It was a wonderful place to relax, and we really enjoyed our time here.

Vi’s Cottage was prettier than it looked in pictures. The outside was painted and the kitchen and bathrooms were large and nicely refinished.Unfortunately the house was musty and the weather prevented us from opening windows. There were a few other issues with cleanliness. There was dust behind the nightstands. There was a thick cobweb under a kitchen cabinet baseboard. The sliding door tracks had an accumulation of dirt and the refrigerator filter said it needed replacing. Otherwise, it looked very clean.Because I was paying a special, high rate I expected more in terms of amenities. The house had no numbers visible at night to match the address given. My side of the bed had no electrical outlet. Our bathroom had no shampoo or body wash. The pantry was the second-most meager of any of the many VRBOs in which I’ve stayed: Folger’s ground coffee, salt and pepper and one jar with a mix of jam packets and flavored coffee creamers. Usually I find oil, spices, a Keurig coffee maker with some coffee pods, and often much more. There was only plastic wrap and some sandwich bags that couldn’t be sealed. I did appreciate the chocolates on our bed and the fact we could bring our dogs!

Beautiful property in a great location! By far my favorite property I've stayed at in the area so far! The home was conveniently located to restaurants and the water with a lot of offerings for entertainment near by. The host went above and beyond with small details to really make this feel like home away from home!! I highly recommend it!

Clean, new renovations, and spectacular view of Brest Bay, made for a most pleasant stay. I will definitely return for additional stays when in the area.

The house was very clean, was as listed. The neighborhood was pleasant. Loved the bathtub and was able to relax and have a great time.

Great stay

Very nice house. Excellent views of Lake Erie and access to the water. Comfortable bed and living room. Nice having the 2 baths. Location worked out well for us. Would definitely stay again.

Family get away

We come to Monroe each summer to fish and see friends who live very close. This house has been perfect for our family the last 2 years. Hope to stay again this time next year!

Wonderful Lakeview House

We really enjoyed our stay while visiting family. Nice views while enjoying our morning coffee and making meals in a great kitchen. Responsive service from host. Very walkable neighborhood. Would definitely stay again.
