Perfect place to stay at if you have an event at Twin Gables. Very nice and great view! House was clean and felt very comfortable.

Weekend getaway

Very clean, nice ammenities. Would love to come back in the summer. Great place for multiple familes/groups to stay together (in multiple cottages).

Just what we needed!

Comfortable & clean with a wonderful view of the lake! Relaxing from the moment we arrived…the a/c was on and we got settled in immediately! Great weekend…already looking forward to our next visit!

Cute Cabin

A cute cabin with a very nice lake! Walking distance to the wedding we were attending at Twin Gables Event Center. This place fit our needs perfectly.

Sand Lake Rentals

We had a great time at the lake, they have tons of water toys. small boat, kayaks, paddle boards, inflatables, life vests etc. We loved the easy access, some lake cottages can be difficult to find. Not these, It’s literally right off the main road.

Peaceful Get-Away

We had a relaxing weekend at the cottage. Loved the decor, it looked even better than in the pictures. And the cottage is overlooking the lake so you can sit in the sun room to watch the water or sit on the deck. There is also a hammock near the door of the cottage that was great for reading a book and viewing the water. The cottage was clean and well socked with all of the essentials. We walked to the gas station for pizza and ice cream. Jennifer was very responsive and easy to work with. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Great place to get away from it all!

Working for a CPA means being unable to get away during the typical spring break. So I always try to take a trip in early May. This year it was me, my adult son and adult niece. We come to Michigan often but usually stay in a hotel. This year I decided to try something different, and I'm very glad I did. The cottage sits right on the lake, you can hear the sounds of the water from the sunroom. There were all kinds of boats & kayaks available along with a gas grill and a fire pit. My son loved being able to fish right off of the dock and both kids had a good time rowing across the lake to the nearby beach. It was close enough for us to make our annual trek to Fort Custer National Cemetery and enjoy an afternoon in Battle Creek. Everything is exceptionally clean and there are lots of little touches including items you may not have thought to bring with you. The host is very communicative and helpful. We hope to visit again in the near future.

The location took us down memory lane as the cottages are on Sand Lake where my grandma owned a cottage when I was growing up. And we honeymooned in her cottage on this lake 50 years ago. So the location was the main draw. Being able to sit on the deck at the table for breakfast in the morning was delightful. It was a restful stay.
