Midcentury Mountain Cabin, complete with hot tub, game room and amazing VIEWS!!

Susan did not contact us during her stay. Two days later I was contacted by Vrbo, stating that Susan was not happy with her stay, stating that the property was unclean. (the normal process is to contact the host, not Vrbo) Susan sent 5 pictures. The first 2 were of the main picture window, taken several days into her stay. The right side of the window had vertical streaks, (most likely from wasp spray she had purchased ) and there were also a fair amount of bugs on the exterior windowsill. This window was cleaned prior to her stay. The 3rd picture was of a baseboard, and we could not ascertain what her complaint was. The fourth picture was of a wall sconce that had some spiderwebs behind it. We own this mistake and will make sure to include this in future cleanings. The 5th picture was of a white linen that had lots of yellow stains on it. We did not recognize the linen, but then noticed she made a mistake. In one of the corners the picture was taken above white woven carpet, which we don’t have anything remotely close in this cabin. My guess is that Susan accidentally included pictures from another property she had made complaints against. Shortly after, I received a call from Susan. She requested that I refund half of her stay, which would have been a refund over $1700. It all made sense now. While we do make mistakes, we own them when it happens. We ask that potential guests look at the majority of our nearly perfect reviews, not only of this cabin but our others as well!
