Very nice place to get away for a couple of days! The hosts are very nice and responsive. Would definitely come back next time we want to vacation in Fredericksburg!

All Around Good Time

We had a great time at this property. It was a short drive to Main Street, but was also far enough away to really feel like a get away. We loved all the animals that roamed free on the property, and even though they were close it was very quiet inside and we could not hear them.

Perfect for animal/nature lovers

My kids went nuts playing with the animals! Like a bonus petting zoo with the stay! My husband and I loved the sunset views of hill country and the wild deer/nature that ran through all evening. It’s far enough away from town to feel the calm of countryside, but still close enough to Main Street to do some shopping if desired. Our hosts were great and made sure we had everything needed for the night!
These guys loved the goldfish we brought and they kept the windows clear of bugs!
Goats, chickens, ducks, geese, cows, and even a friendly barn cat kept us company! The aviary had so many interesting birds as well!
New mamas wanted us to keep our distance, rightfully so. But they were fun to watch interacting with one another.
Such a beautiful, peaceful sky. There are a few places to sit outside to enjoy everything, including the roof.

home away from home!

absolutely amazing! the place was super cute & comfy but the experience was even better! the animals, the lights they have outside, the peacefulness; so so great! 100% recommend & Eric the host was so nice!! especially when Vrbo didn’t send us the information about we needed!

Fun experience

We enjoyed hanging out with the longhorns. We tried to get close to the deer but no luck. Enjoy the ambience. Comfy outside chair, moved the futon outside and enjoyed a fire. My kids loved this experience!! It was super close to Fredericksburg so we could drive in for meals without lots of hassle.

Don’t stay here

Never got check in directions. Had to call VRBO and they could not help us at the time so we had to get a hotel.

This property is about 10 mins away from town. The pictures are accurate…cows, chickens, goats will be your new best friends. Get ready to take pictures. There was a sweet kitty that hung out on the patio too. Kitty wasn’t afraid to come in with you so make sure they dont sneak in with you. We had to chase them out at midnight on Saturday. When you open the door in the morning the chickens will be waiting on you. We were in town for a surprise engagement dinner so we didn’t spend too much time in the unit. Erick was great with communication.

Family fun with lots of farm animals

This was perfect for our family of 3! Our 4.5yo son had a blast running around and playing with all the animals. He loved the longhorns the most, and he is now obsessed with them! The property looks exactly as it does in the pictures, and the beds were so comfortable! Erik was easy to communicate with, and he even let us have a late checkout! Due to some high winds and a bad thunderstorm, we didn’t get to really use the rooftop deck, but we did go up to check it out. The view from up there is breathtaking, and you really get a sense of calm and peacefulness when you are looking out across the property and into the Texas Hill Country. We will definitely be back!
