This was one of the best stays in our life!! The place is so well appointed with everything guests may need...extra towels to toiletries. The place could not be cleaner . It has a most spectacular view of mountains and valley in beautiful SW Va. It was quiet and peaceful. The place is so nice you almost hate to leave and venture out. Every bed is so comfortable. The bathrooms are clean . The kitchen has everything one would need. We loved watching the sunrise from the large covered porch. The location is not far off the beaten path. It was easy to get to nearby Abingdon, Whites Mill ,and of course, Emory and Henry University. We loved every minute of our time here. It will definitely be a place to which we will return!

This is a wonderful property. Location to local attractions was superb. We have stayed in numerous properties through VRBO and this is, by far, the most clean and neat. Our only disappointment was the hot tub. As senior gals, we love to get in the hot tub. We found the water not hot enough and the jets weak to absent.

We had a great time at this cabin. Everything was clean and it had everything that you would ever need and more. The downstairs kitchenette was a definite plus. The hot tub was great as was the fire pit and the gas logs.I would highly recommend and we will be booking for next year.

This place was the best Vrbo home we have ever stayed. The cabin was well thought out with all the amenities. The kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes, pots, and pans!The view was so amazing and relaxing, all your stresses seem to disappear!Thank you so very much!

Wonderful place

We came for our daughters graduation weekend and this place was perfect. This would be the perfect place to spend a fall weekend or just anytime you want to visit the mountains.

It truly was the cleanest, best equipped vacation rental any of us had stayed in. And as all 5 of us are Emory & Henry alums who were in town for homecoming, all of the E&H touches made it even more special. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful setting - open space private cabin- plenty of room to enjoy outdoor deck with Mountain View. Bedrooms very comfortable. Kitchen had everything you needed for your stay and location was perfect for creeper trail day! Just went all out with this cabin!!!

Our stay at Mountain View was excellent! Amenities were unbelievable. They even had water and food bowls for a dog, along with dog towels! The kitchen was well stocked with pans, bowls and utensils. It was also Immaculately clean. The back yard is very steep, but has a nice fire pit. The hot tube was heated and towels available. We highly recommend this property.

Perfect spot

We stayed for the weekend with friends. Went to the Barter Theater for a show and spent a day hiking the Channels. This home is in a great location and was perfect for our group.

Thanksgiving in VA

We couldn’t have picked a better place to have our Thanksgiving vacation! The views were amazing and there were lots of unique things to do nearby. We especially enjoyed catching “A Christmas Carol” at the Barter Theater!

Mountain pass

The house is beautiful and just as described. Immaculately clean and provided everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the hot tube and a trip to Hungry Mother State Park during our stay. This is truly one of the nicest homes we've rented, and we've been to quite a few...

Absolutely Perfect!!

The cabin is beautiful, conveniently located to every thing we needed and places we wanted to visit. Sleeping arrangements are perfect and comfy. Fully stocked especially lots and lots of towels and wash cloths. The view and property were amazing and private and quiet. And this cabin is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!!! We have stayed at very clean places but this place is spotless!! We had a great time!!

Beautiful!!!!

The cabin was beautiful and very clean! Everything was perfect! Well stocked and organized! We didn’t need anything but food! The sunrise every morning was breath taking! Will def Stay again!
