Oak and Fountain is minutes away from the City of Mobile, Mobile Regional Airport, and the University of South Alabama, and convenient to the white sand beaches of Dauphin Island!

Oak and Fountain is everything you could want!

Each unit in the newly-renovated Oak and Fountain Retreat has been professionally decorated and sleeps four guests comfortably. Located in an interior hall for your safety, the entrance to each unit has been designed to look like its own individual cottage! Inside, you will find a comfortable queen sized bed, Smart TV, Wifi, oversized shower, kitchenette, and pull-out sofa.

Each unit also has a walk-in closet and air conditioning.

With 17 units, 2 unique sitting rooms, on-site laundry, screened porch, extensive gardens, and an event venue (with commercial kitchen), Oak and Fountain is perfect for large groups, weddings, church functions, and corporate retreats. (Please enquire with host directly for availability and rates for events/total booking, any unauthorized events are subject to a fine up to but not limited to $3500)

Three fountains and multiple oak trees can be found on Oak and Fountain’s gorgeous,

landscaped, 2 acre property; perfect for a relaxing walk, formal event, or even taking a Zoom Call outdoors!

Ample on-site parking included and onsite property manager.

All properties have outdoor cameras.

The property was very clean and everything functioned well. The location was a bit remote and a pull out couch would be helpful for the 3rd person. Plus extra towel for 3rd person. Thanks!

Great Vrbo!!!

We cannot overstate how happy we were with this space, its location, and most of all the hosts. We needed a place to stay close to down town Mobile for the Christmas holidays that allowed dogs and was quiet: mission accomplished! The spacious studio covers all the bases: easy to access, private, conveniently located, comfortable, well-designed and equipped, very clean, and the property was very open, beautifully tended by thoughtful, helpful, and conscientious hosts. This property is a reminder of the platform's (Vrbo's) original promise. We look forward to returning!

PEACEFUL

We love this property. This was my second time booking a room at this location. The owners try to think of anything you may need. Everything looks and SMELLS clean. I cannot say enough good things. Definitely my go to place to stay when I visit Grand Bay.

Inaccurate listing, additional charges and no promised refund.

I wanted to love this stay! Super cute property. However, it went south shortly after checking in. The room was not clean, trash on the floor, sand on the bathroom counter, etc. The "sofa bed" was a small futon. No way to sleep 2 on it comfortably so the "sleeps 4" is inaccurate. I contacted the property host and was told we would be refunded $50. One week later and that has still not shown up. There was also no bedding, pillows, blankets, for the futon. So again, advertised for 4 but definitely set up for 2 (bed for 2, 2 coffee pods, 2 water bottles, 2 washcloths, etc). Furthermore, when we received the confirmation email that stated a cleaning fee I inquired about that and was told we would not incur any further charges, that the fee was included in the initial payment. Upon checkout, the following day we had an extra charge on our card. The cleaning fee. The fee we were told we had ALREADY paid. So, if there are only 2 of you and you don't mind additional fees being charged after being told you would not have any, this is a cute little place. Not near enough parking, either. People were parked along the driveway and in the grass, which was muddy and nasty because it was raining. Unfortunately, it was an absolute disappointment to us in every way. We could have paid the same amount at a hotel with a breakfast and enough beds for everyone.
