The "Blissful Bungalow” your home away from home.

Welcome to "The Blissful Bungalow" Relax and enjoy this totally remodeled circa 1920's Bungalow located in the Historic Walnut Hill area of Petersburg. The house features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, hardwood floors throughout, a back deck and the classic Bungalow style front porch.
The space
In this circa 1920 classic Bungalow we added all the modern conveniences, in this is two bedroom, two bathroom house. We also have a office/sitting room with a daybed if needed. Enjoy the front porch or sit and relax on the back deck.

Behind the house is a completely separate guest house/cottage we call “The Lofty Cottage” it is also a STR

A few important things to note:
Please be mindful of this fish pond in the yard, it is a work in progress.

Please use caution when getting in and out of the bathtub, it can be slippery. There is a non-slip tub mat provided in the bathroom closet

While we do allow children, please note that the space is NOT "childproof". You would also need to bring anything your child might need, Pack & Play, Highchair, etc..

You will have the entire space to yourself.
Other things to note
This home does not have direct cable television. TVs are located in the living room (50"), Primary bedroom is ( 24” ). TVs have Smart TV technology to stream your paid streaming service as well as free streaming services.

We had a very nice stay in this lovely and clean home. Perfect place to make home base while visiting our son at college. The house has everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

The house was immaculate and quiet and the location was perfect! Tracey was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed and even checked in with us during our stay to make sure we were good.

This home has been restored so beautifully. One of the most well-kept properties we have visited. The host was quick to respond. Even checked to make sure our stay was going well. Great experience.

Charming home with nice amenities. Very neat and clean home. Loved that coffee and soaps were provided. Quiet location. Host Tracey was quick to respond and helpful. No driveway, only on street parking.

Home-like Vibe and Beautiful

We were so pleased with our stay. We were looking to spend a weekend with our son before he started AIT at Ft Lee. This was the best place for us! It provided a home-like atmosphere where we were able to have meals around a dinner table and enjoy precious time with our son. It was quiet, well-appointed and the owner was only a text away. Thank you for allowing us to have a peaceful weekend.

Very clean and well equipped property in a Nice quiet area of town ...no off road parking on street but there's plenty of it and free so not an issue.Sadly the battlefield was closed the day we were there but that's not the properties fault.Easy communication with owner and easy checkin procedure. A few rules to follow but you'd want to keep it clean if it was ya own.

We love the residential Walnut Hill area of Petersburg which was established in 1920. It has a great vibe of older built family homes from the 1920-1970’s

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

This is a classic 1920's style Bungalow. We endeavored to keep all the old time charm with all the modern updates. We love the long front porch, large entry hallway and all the trim which we painted in the color "mink' to try and keep with the era.
