Small cottage tucked amongst horse pastures in a quiet rural property, yet a minute from the main highway to get to anywhere in minutes. Surrounded by the best local shops in Scott, like uncles oysters or the boudin shop! Stay here, I swear you will love it.

We were absolutely blown away by this stay. The Coop was clean, had everything you could possibly need, and on the most beautiful property. The cats and dogs were so friendly and cuddly and run up to greet you as soon as you arrive. It was so peaceful getting up in the morning and feeding the horses and donkeys. Chickens running everywhere. A true farm experience!! Annette and Gerard are the best hosts we’ve ever had. Easy to get ahold of and so friendly and welcoming. Loved talking to Gerard and getting to know the backstories of the horses. We will 100% be staying here again next time we come to Louisiana!

We had such a wonderful experience staying at the Coop! Waking up to the horses, cats, and Princess the donkey was truly special. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more memorable!! We will absolutely be coming back to stay here on our next visit!

My second time staying here. The hostesses treat me like family. They are so welcoming. Such a peaceful environment - including beautiful country views with horses. There were even 3 fouls that were just born. Such a blessing to watch the baby horses interacting with their moms. Bonus: The Best Stop Kitchen/grocery store is just down the street and sells amazing boudin biscuits!

These were absolutely some of the most amazing hosts we’ve encountered and everything you need as far as food and shopping is close by. We will go back.

Perfect stay for new years. Our family lives nearby and this spot offered a perfect place to relax. The cottage is perfectly clean. The space is comfortable enough for us and our teenage daughter. Kitchenette is well stocked for prepping a small meal. Owners are very kind and live on site. Beautiful farm setting with friendly animals.

Wonderful

Very clean place! This country setting stay was amazing. From the beautiful little foal to the great hostess we really enjoyed our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!!
