A perfect home away from home

We were fortunate enough to be able to stay at this property again. As before it was clean and comfortable. The host has been amazing to work with. We are hoping to be able to stay again later in the year.

Great Host

We were in town for a basketball tournament. Host was awesome and the house was just as described. We enjoyed the stay and will definitely come back. Host went above and beyond for a request and we are absolutely grateful for his kindness.

thanksgiving family

Part of our family lives in the neighborhood, but we needed extra sleeping space for our Thanksgiving reunion participants from other states. This was the perfect arrangement, the accommodations were very nice, and the host was informative and helpful. Thank You.

Great home for family with a pet

We were helping our son relocate from Kansas and needed a place to accommodate 3 adults and the family dog. The house worked perfectly with multiple bedrooms, a nice kitchen and family room and a fenced backyard for the dog. Our host communicated very well and was easy to work with. Highly recommend this property if you’re going to be in the Mt. Vernon or Bellingham area.

Mt. Vernon Manor

Adequate accommodation in Mt. Vernon for myself, husband and pets. A busy road behind the property could be heard at night from the main bedroom, but not too loud to cause sleeplessness. Clean home with nice backyard for dogs.

Clean and Quiet

The venue was well-kept and clean and close to the tulip fields and La Conner. The neighborhood was quiet and even though there was a welll-used street the next block up, we didn't hear it at all.

Comfortable home away from home

My husband and I had business in the area for 2 weeks, I also run my dogs in agility trials, and there is a beautiful venue not far from Mount Vernon. This property was perfect for what we needed. We got our business taken care of and were able to compete in 2 agility trials. It is clean, comfortable, well stocked, in a good location with a very nice fenced yard and patio. The manager was very helpful and checked in with us during our stay.

Adequate for the price

We found the home mostly as described and enjoyed our stay. There were adequate kitchen supplies & items, but not abundant. Luckily, we weren't planning to do much cooking anyway. The bathroom was especially low on toiletries. The neighborhood was quiet. We would rent it again if we were in the area.

Family Oasis in Mount Vernon

Favs: 3 bedrooms; fully fenced lg backyard; driveway & street parking; quite neighborhood; restaurants & shopping close; full dining room; fireplace; reclining sofas Bonus Favs: the primary bedroom's shower is stunning!! Such a lovely amenity - was stoked to see this on arrival. Things to Note: this is a rural part of the state. It's developing rapidly & still growing. If you're ride-share dependent you'll be waiting a while. Find alternatives like the bus or renting a car. Last minute booking happiness! I cannot say enough good about the hospitality Jacob provided our family during our stay. We found ourselves in a mad rush to find a place quickly. We were in a rural area, with limited rental options, 3 dogs + 1 cat, & a teen. I thought to myself,"How are we ever going to find accommodations as quickly as we need them?" Amid the chaos, I sent Jacob a message and shared our situation. He replied super fast and didn't seem to 'bat an eye' at our loaded pet situation. We booked and breathed a sigh of relief. The hospitality was more than generous! We never even noticed that Jacob was in the unit below. Jacob was respectful of our privacy, shared his entire backyard with us, and provided everything we needed for our long-term stay. If you're second-guessing staying here for any reason, I would highly suggest that you put those guesses aside, and just book it! ESPECIALLY, if you have furry family members. We're looking forward to staying here again!
