Our stay at the Winedown was perfect. It is an extremely comfortable and homey house ( much larger than its photos show). It also has the best equipped kitchen of any place I’ve stayed at before. The owners were very accessible and helpful. The location is fabulous- near the beach but also secluded. I hope to return to Montauk and the Winedown would be my choice again.

Had a great stay. House is very nice and has many unique features. Great location too. Kevin was super helpful with the checkin process and made everything a breeze. Definitely recommend!

Amazing house so close to the beach! We had such a great time and Kevin the host was so helpful - we had a problem with the sink and he had a plumber there in less than an hour! Will have to come back soon!

This house was perfect for the three families. Everyone had a bed, it has two loving rooms and two decks. Outdoor shower is divine. Plenty of beach chairs and some boogie boards. I would stay here again.

Amazing and spacious house between Montauk and Amagansett. Decent walk to the beach and 10 min drive from town. Perfect for groups and had everything needed for a great weekend.

Great Stay!

I stayed here with a few of my friends for a long weekend. We loved our stay! The house has so much space for a larger group. Kevin was a great host - very easy to communicate with! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place for a summer long weekend! Perfectly situated close to Montauk and a quick drive to the beach.The house was clean and well stocked with everything you need for a weekend trip. The large wraparound deck was perfect for drinking coffee in the morning and grilling in the evenings. We will definitely be back!

Amazing home!

We had a group of 13 stay at the Winedown. The house was fully stocked with beach chairs, towels and everything we needed. Communication was great and we really had the best time. I would definitely stay here again!

Great house!

Kevin was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful. The house was perfect, 5 minutes from town and more spacious than we expected! I would love to stay again next time in Montauk.

Friends trip for holiday weekend

The house was great for our holiday weekend getaway. There is plenty of room to relax, while also having enough bedrooms and beds to easily accommodate a larger group. The house was in pristine condition upon arrival and communication with the owners couldn’t have been better. Our group had a great time staying at the Winedown and it’ll definitely be on the list of places we’d like to return to in the future.

I don't think I can say enough nice things about my stay at the Winedown. From the secluded location to the wonderful views, my friends and I had an amazing time making use of this wonderful home. Awesome House

Our stay here was fabulous. We were in town for a family wedding and this house was so perfect for our family to gather, relax and get ready for the wedding events. Kevin was amazing and so accommodating but we really did need anything. I can't say enough about how perfect our stay was. Thank you so much!

Amazing time at the Winedown!

My group and I really enjoyed our weekend at the winedown. The house was spacious and very clean. Everything we needed was there. Kevin was also a great host - very easy to communicate with and responsive. We had an issue with the Wi-Fi upon arrival but Kevin worked with me to resolve the issue asap. He also left us little touches to make our stay extra special!

Best weekend ever.

Everything about this stay was 10/10. Not only was the house cozy and clean, but the location couldn’t be beat. Kevin was an absolute dream of a host, so communicative beforehand and easily reachable if we needed anything (which we didn’t). Highly highly recommend if you’re staying with a larger group—the house had everything from beach chairs and games to towels and linens galore. (It’s also deceptively spacious, plenty of room for everyone to lounge and hangout in their own quarters). The koi fish pond was also an unexpected hit; we loved hanging on the benches after a day in the sun :)

The house was well located in the Hither Hills neighborhood with plenty of space for our large group of 14 and just a short drive to town and the Hither Hills State Park beach. It had everything we needed for the weekend and Kevin was very responsive. Would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a weekend in Montauk!
