Super relaxing cottage. Has everything you need - nice cookware and knives, plenty of dishes and silverware, easy to make meals. Comfortable beds, great screened in porch. This Stony Lake cottage is a gem.

It's a very spacious cottage with a nice screen porch with lake access just across a shared driveway. We really enjoyed our stay here. We love this area very much and there are lots of things to do near by. It was a little hard to find the cottage because the address is not posted on the road but the instructions were detailed enough to find it. We had a great stay

Excellent house

We had a large group and everyone enjoyed the stay. Host was helpful and responsive when we had questions.

Very Enjoyable

The hosts were great and took good care of us. We had a family of 8 and there was plenty of room. The lake breeze and trees kept the house nice and cool.

Great Owners/Cottage

Hope Floats is a great cottage. It was clean and spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. It is definitely a place to keep going back to! The owners were very easy to communicate with and immediately answered any and all questions we had.

Hope Floats

Hope floats was a great place for a family vacation. It was stocked well with anything we needed. Communication with the hosts was positive and they were very responsive. Access to the lake for kayaking and paddle boarding was easy and close.

Lots of space and well supplied with dishes and pans. Owners communicated well and described the place perfectly. My only complaint was there was no A/C (which they disclosed) but on two nights it was well over 75 indoors (even with fans). I recommend putting. Few split units im for the rare heat waves.

overall the property was very nice and pleasant

We were staying for the week because my granddaughter's wedding was taking place at the Heritage Barn. We were in and out most of the days with wedding events. We were please with the condition of the home except for several stains on the carpet and a molding was broken off but other than that it was great. I, as a crafter, appreciated all the cross stitch pictures that were hanging on the walls. Thank you

We are glad you enjoyed your stay, Sandy! Very sorry that the few small carpet stains made the stay detracted from a 5-Star stay. Given your stay in September and it being the end of cottage season and after a summer of use, a few stains can happen. We are actually planning to replace the carpet in the entire downstairs with a waterproof option that will be better suited for guests as well as far easier to care for the high traffic areas downstairs. Thanks again for staying at Hope Floats cottage!

Local family getaway

Local family getaway, the house was great and very clean. Owners were easy to contact and had no crazy expectations. We were expecting to coming in and and nothing and the house was stocked with the toilet paper, paper towel and some cleaning supplies. We were a little worried about not having central air but the house is shaded and gets a nice breeze off the lake. The only thing that I wish would have been noted was that the house doesn’t really have a nice beach access as we thought the house was closer to the beach like the houses directly in front of it. Other than that we had a great time and would recommend to others
