We had a wonderful stay at this property! The home was exceptionally clean and exactly as described in the listing—everything matched perfectly. The location is fantastic, making it the perfect spot for my husband, our standard poodle, and me. We felt comfortable and right at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend and would love to return!

Gem of a place on historic Beach Avenue

Great place with plenty of room for our family, including our dog. Easy access to the beach and within walking distance of a few great restaurants. Highly recommend this place and wonderful communication with Ron and Bernadette.

Beautiful Oceanfront Cottage

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Bernadette and Rons little cottage by the ocean. It was incredibly spacious, clean and had all of the amenities could ask for including a BEAUTIFUL view. We will definitely stay again and would recommend it to others!

Great oceanfront rental

Very comfortable property, especially the second floor. The second story screened-in porch and the living room were beautiful and inviting.

Perfect peaceful stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay once again. The house was comfortable and our hosts gracious as ever. Even during the July 4th week this house is a refuge. Looking forward to next summer!

Christmas Getaway

The cottage was perfect for our family of 5 for a holiday getaway. We loved all of the details and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The gift basket upon arrival was very sweet and welcoming! We would definitely stay there again as we come to Cape May often!

Excellent seaside cottage in Cape May. Beach Avenue. Ocean view. Short walk to beach. Quiet part of town. Cottage clean, comfortable, and spacious. All the amenities of home. Would vacation here again. Highly recommended.

Clean and Quiet

We enjoyed this cottage away from the rush of downtown. Loved the screened porch, the two bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Nicely decorated and very clean.

Perfect Cape May Experience

The 2 bedroom (dog-friendly) cottage was perfect. The spiral staircase, second-floor sun room, and the roof top seating (on the "main building", gave us feel the seaside experience we were looking for. Ron was great to deal with and supplied us with everything we needed to feel at home.

Charming beachfront cottage

One of our beautiful weeks in Cape May. The cottage was so charming and comfortable. Loved the updated appliances and TVs. Really felt like home. The location was perfect, just a short walk to one of the less crowded beautiful beaches. We did have a chance to meet the owner when we checked in, and he was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Frankly, we were very disappointed with the condition of the outside space of this property. It was in NO way anything like the pictures presented in the VRBO listing. Weeds everywhere, debris and the patio was dirty with weeds growing through the flooring. The entryway likewise was dirty, the screen door had loose screening and weather stripping. Not a good first impression. Cleanliness inside was so-so. Basically the furniture just looks sad and needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. The throw pillows are old and dirty. The kitchen was nice and serviceable, but I couldn’t find any T towels or dishcloths. The coffee pot was indicating it needed to be cleaned. Bedrooms and bathrooms were good. More in-depth instructions for TV in the living room are desperately needed. Just “say what you want to watch” wasn’t very helpful. Communication with the owner was unlike any I’ve ever experienced with a VRBO stay. No welcoming text other than “the keys are ….”A text I sent the evening before our departure and one sent the next day weren’t answered until we were about halfway home!All of these things add up; the rental is overpriced and doesn’t provide the overall situation as advertised. I wish I could give an overall rating as so-so, but okay is the closest choice. Please review my pictures and compare to those in the listing.

Little piece of heaven

Very lovely cottage, charming accents, great front porch with incoming ocean breezes. TVs in bedroom was nice to have, as well as electric fireplaces.

Charming cottage

Charming dog friendly home

The location of this home is perfect. Warm and inviting spaces. So nice to be able to bring our dogs. Cape May is so unique and so is this home. I didn't realize that we had to bring linens, but Bernadette brought a brand new sheet set over when I inquired about it.
