Cosy and family friendly house in Reykjavik, very Brilliant location.

Our house is centrally located in Reykjavik in a nice and calm neighbourhood called Laugardalur, only 4km away from the city centre. Bus transportation is just a few steps from our house, you are only a few minutes by bus to the city centre. The main swimming pool in Reykjavik, Laugardals swimming pool is close by. Biggest gym called World Class Laugar, it's next door to the swimming pool and if you go there you can also enter the swimming pool from the gym. The gym has also one of the nicest Spa's in Reykjavik, where you can get all kinds of treatments. Restaurants, bakeries, ice cream store are close by. There are also nice outdoor area in Laugardalur if you want to go for a walk / bike / run, you can follow the path all the way around the city if you like.

Our house is on two floors and has 5 bedrooms. On the ground floor we have a kitchen, living room, TV Room, bathroom and two bedrooms. On the 2nd floor we have the 3 bedrooms and the Master Bathroom ( with shower and bathtub ) Our kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need, Our living room has very nice fireplace, big dining table ( 13 chairs ) and TV room has 70 inch tv and apple tv with all the streaming services you need, Netflix and more, next to it big Fish Tank / Aquarium with over 70 fishes in it. Bedroom1 on the ground floor has a single bed ( 140x200 ) and Bedroom2 has one 120x200 cm bed, both bedrooms have TV's. From the living room you can enter our wooden patio / garden where we have a big Trampoline for the kids and a hot tub to relax in. On the 2nd floor we have 3 bedrooms, Bedroom3 is our Master bedroom with a Queen size bed ( 160x200 cm ), Bedroom 4 and 5 have both single beds ( 120x200 cm) and then we can add extra single beds ( 90x200 cm ) if needed. Upstairs in the hallway we have a small exercise area, with treadmill and some weights.

We have baby crib and high chair for your children.

We provide linen, towels and soap etc.

We manage over 180 properties here in Iceland, most of them in Reykjavik area and also few outside of Reykjavik. Please let us know if you would like to split your stay, some nights in Reykjavik and some outside of Reykjavik.

questa casa vacanze si trova a Reykjavik, in Laugardalur. Porto di Reykjavik e Grafarholt Golf Course sono due tappe fondamentali per chi ama le attività. Per un po' di sano shopping, invece, ci sono Sentiero Laugavegur e Centro commerciale Kringlan. Anche Piscina geotermica di Laugardalslaug e Grasagardur Botanical Garden meritano una visita. Perfect Place To Stay

This house was the perfect place to spend the weekend. It was in a quiet neighborhood, but was also very close to the city. It was a great place to stay for both going to the city and out to explore other parts of Iceland. The house itself was very clean and the communication on various details of the house was clear and very helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

For our family of 6, this was a good property for us. We rented a large van and there was parking at the home. There are 2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms and a full size washer plus dryer (non venting which was new to us coming from the USA). There is a nice outside deck which we could enjoy and a hot tub (which hopefully they empty and refill between guests - hard to tell if that is the case). We ended up driving and parking for our activities in the city most of the time but it's not too far from the house. The location being near the botanical gardens is very nice. It's about 45 mins from the airport too. The two downstairs bedroom are quite dark for sleeping but the ones upstairs were very bright (no blackout shades that we could find). We visited in July. The kitchen was useful too (and there is a microwave that took us a while to find). Overall, a good experience. It was expensive but more comfortable for our group size than hotel rooms would have been. The host communication was ok overall. Not super responsive in the vrbo app but we were OK with it overall. Their company manages a large group of local rentals apparently so I felt comfortable with rental with them.
