The Space:

Chalet Le Gingo Shack will allow you to spend an unforgettable stay. Located in Saint-Ferdinand, a charming municipality where outdoor activities will be at the rendezvous. With direct access to Lac William with private dock. This is the perfect time to show off your fishing skills, as this is a common activity in the area.



Chalet Gingo Shack is ideal for an escape stay that can accommodate up to 12 people. You will find all the amenities for a "home away from home". Interior comfort with 4 bedrooms; the first and second bedroom with 1 Queen bed and the third and fourth bedroom with 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed. A fully equipped kitchen, two living areas and 2 bathrooms. The awakenings will no longer be the same after having enjoyed a coffee on the outdoor patio furnished with a direct view of the lake. Wi-Fi internet access and the pool table are available to keep young and old busy. Please note that animals are not allowed.



Outdoor comfort with a huge landscaped lot with BBQ. You can take the opportunity to warm up around the outdoor fire, or take advantage of the dock and kayak, available in the summer season. Continue to rest, take a moment to enjoy the four-season spa, amidst a memorable landscape.



Summer or winter, you will succumb to the charm of this region of Centre-du-Québec. Whether you are a fan of skiing, snowshoeing, hiking or if you are passionate about bird watching, take advantage of your visit to reconnect with nature. You will never have enjoyed winter so much since snowmobiling is also a very popular activity in Saint-Ferdinand. Indeed, more than 85 km of trails are maintained. Note that a heated garage is available for your snowmobile. Stop off at the Sentiers Art-et-Nature-des-Appalaches or at the Jardin du Presbytère.

The Centre-du-Québec gourmet tours will make your mouth water! Visit farms and discover orchards. Meet fine cheese producers, cranberry producers, maple syrup producers, and much more!

The location was great: a beautiful spot right on the lake and just across the street from the grocery store (with a small liquor store inside).We did, however, have a few issues that made our stay less than ideal:1. It was very hot throughout our stay and the air conditioning only worked on the first floor. The three bedrooms located on the second floor were very, very hot. This should have been communicated in the vrbo listing. I would NEVER book a place that did not have proper AC. I hate the heat!2. The parking was inadequate for a group of ten. There really was only parking for one, maybe two cars at most, at the house. This was not adequately communicated.3. There was a boil water advisory in effect during our stay. We were advised to only drink the water in the water dispenser provided. There was less than 1/8 of water left in the bottle.4. There were no hand soaps in the bathrooms, no little body soaps, shampoos or conditioners, no coffee pods or tea bags to get us started.5. On the first day we arrive, we tried calling all the phone numbers we had to ask about where to park. No one called us back. I finally reached someone the next door who had to search for the answer.All that being said, with a few changes and upgrades this could be a great place to stay.

L'endroit est propre et bien équipé. Il est bien situé. L'espace extérieur est fantastique. Les enfants ont pu courir. Nous avons aussi profité du sentier SANA. Ce que nous avons moins aimé c'est l'odeur dans la maison à l'étage cuisine-salon et au sous-sol. Est-ce de l'humidité? le fait d'être inhabitée? mais l'odeur nous a dérangés la première soirée. Après avoir cuisiné et habité la maison 24 heures, l'odeur à l'étage de la cuisine-salon a été masquée. Il y avait un BBQ disponible, mais les bonbonnes de gaz étaient quasiment vides. Heureusement, nous avons trouvé un endroit pour les remplir. Enfin, nous avons bien profité du dépanneur-épicerie en face. Le personnel était très serviable. On a profité de la boulangerie et de produits cuisinés-maison.

très bel endroit tranquille et en ce mois de septembre les belles couleurs de nos érables change. Super calme, relax avec le bruit des vagues et des bernaches qui commence arriver.

Très agréable.Nous avons manqué de certaines choses dans la cuisine,essuie-tout, sac poubelle, pas de râpe à fromage…Nous avons appris par hasard que l’eau n’était pas potable. Les lits très confortables et le décor enchanteur

Situation idéale

Bien située, l'entretien intérieur était bon, malheureusement le BBQ extérieur était dégoutant entre autres il n'y avait pas de brosse de nettoyage. La literie n'est pas très bonne, le douche du premier étage est à réparer. De façon générale, c'était très bien.
