Please do not expect a positive review. On our first day here, the house was unbearably hot, with no air conditioning and broken fans. Dirty furniture. We were denied access to the lake, the spa was out of service, and the kitchen was stocked with old, unusable pots and pans. Upstairs, three bedrooms with One leaking bathroom making the situation even more disappointing.

We're sorry this stay didn't reflect the level of care we aim to provide. As noted in the listing, this mountain home doesn't offer air conditioning, and lake access is available to all guests through day passes from the local lake association, which our team is glad to help arrange. The maintenance and cleanliness concerns you raised have been shared with the team responsible for the home for prompt attention. We appreciate you bringing these to our attention, and should you consider staying with us again, we'd welcome the chance to provide a better experience.

Nice weekend getaway

Our group of friends and their families stayed her for a weekend getaway. It comfortably accommodated all of us with the exception of parking. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with what was needed for our party. Only complaint was it was pretty warm. It is mentioned that there is no AC, but the fans could be a little better.

We enjoy our time at this cabin. It was very clean and all the towels were laid out perfectly for all guests. The kids loved the Hot Tub. Check in was very easy. I would advise for them to fix/upgrade the WiFi. It kept on going on and off the whole time. Both TVs are smart TVs that require the WiFi to work. This may bother other guests a lot more than it did to us. We used our phones as a Hot Spot to get by when it was down. The home being so accommodating and clean made up for WiFi inconvenience.

Thank you for your thoughtful review—we’re so glad to hear you and your family enjoyed the cabin, especially the hot tub and the easy check-in experience. It’s great to know the home was clean and well-prepared for your stay. We truly appreciate your flagging the WiFi issue. We understand how important a reliable connection is, especially with smart TVs, and we’re actively looking into improvements to ensure a more consistent experience for future guests. Thanks again for staying with us—we’d love to host you again soon.

Disappointing

Unfortunately we had terrible plumbing issues. It was terribly hot and the house, even with fans, retained the heat from the day and didn’t cool down.
