Beautiful, updated house with charm, character and comfort. Outstanding and thoughtful hosts. Highly recommended! Perfect place to stay for work colleagues in Portland for a conference, and later for a family with adult kids. 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, a spacious living room, cozy tv room, well stocked kitchen, and lovely front porch in nice neighborhood. Grocery store in walking distance. Convenient to have washer and dryer. Loved staying here.

House is beautiful. It was clean, tidy, easy to find.Parking was different every day, but not too far away and always free!House was well stocked, instructions excellent, very interestingly furnished. Everything worked! Lots of kitchen equipment and lovely new stove.Host responded very quickly to our (few) questions!

The owner was very helpful both in pre-arrival and during our stay. House is cute with great old charm. Kitchen accommodated all of our cooking (could have used a pizza cutter). Floors, kitchen and bathrooms are very clean. Location was convenient to our planned activities.

We celebrated our daughter’s college graduation. We had a wonderful weekend staying at this charming house. The location was great. We walked to Broadway Street where they had many shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. The space was open and we never felt crowded. I would highly recommend staying at this house.

I had a lovely stay with my family here while we were in town for a wedding. The home was just as pictured in the listing. Will was quick to reply with questions and it was an easy check in process.

Comfortable Home

Our family enjoyed our stay in this comfy home. Plenty of room to hang out in the living room, and everything we needed for cooking meals at “home.” Nice stay.

Fabulous house and location

Beautiful house - it was the perfect place to stay with family and friends! We also really enjoyed the neighbourhood of interesting houses and gardens, fun restaurants and pubs and cocktail bars within walking distance, and easy access to wider Portland attractions. The host was also really nice and available if we needed anything!

Beautiful house in walkable neighborhood

Really beautiful large historic house. Very functional and walking distance to Portland activities. Comfortable furniture and lots of little details where a lot of thought was put in. We really enjoyed our stay! Hosts communicated well and made our stay great.

Beautifully Maintained and Well Equipped

This beautifully maintained, historic home provided all we needed for a three-generation trip to Portland. The location is steps away from a Trimet Bus Stop and many restaurants and grocery stores.The host, Will, was extremely responsive and helpful.

Amazing weekend in Portland!

The house was everything our group of 9 needed! It was spacious with lots of places to gather our group as well. It was within walking distance to everything we wanted and bus access to downtown for everything else. The city and transit were easy to navigate and Will was a fantastic host!

Relaxing and quiet

The house was perfect and gave a lot of time for our team to connect and talk. The house is in a really peaceful neighborhood and the owners were awesome. Great communication. If we are in Portland again we will be reaching out!

Wonderful and well decorated home in a safe and quiet neighborhood

I stayed here with a group of 8 women for a weekend getaway. The bathrooms are fabulous - I love the wall paper and one of the showers is practically a room!! I don’t know how easily it could sleep 10 adults as that would entail some couch sleepers or sharing a Full size bed. Overall it was great!!

This is a beautiful historic home filled with quality furnishings and kitchen items. No yard sale junk like many other rental homes supply. Beautifully decorated and in keeping with the historic charm. Lovely host as well.Only criticism is everyone slept a bit cold. Only coverlets on beds and no access to extra blankets. There are electric heaters provided in bedrooms, but we were all worried to leave these running throughout the night. The bedding and mattresses were very comfortable, however. This host did not skimp on interior design and/or furnishings. Its a steep price, but very well maintained.

Hidden Oasis in Portland

My large family of 8 and I visited Portland this summer, and truly couldn’t have asked for a better home for our stay. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable, bathrooms large and with plenty of amenities, and the kitchen fully stocked with everything you need. The location was also very close to everything we needed in town, and was extremely quiet even while appearing to be on a main thoroughfare. There was even a neighborhood cat who came by a few mornings on the porch to say hello. I so appreciated Will’s communicativeness and willingness to let us check in early for our stay; he even told us to grab any veggies from the garden that were ready to eat! We all said one of our favorite things about this vacation was not only all the amazing things to do in Portland and beyond, but how beautiful the home was as well. If we return as a family, or even with smaller groups, we will be renting from Will and his family again.

Quaint and comfortable stay

This beautiful, well-appointed house was perfect for our gathering of "old" friends. It was spacious enough that along with a bedroom for each of us and two full baths, there was enough living space that one of us could close herself up in a common room to work remotely while the rest of us could still gather and visit normally.While we didn't cook there, it seemed as though it would have been easy enough to do with what the kitchen had to offer. It was also a little too chilly to spend much time in the outdoor spaces, but they looked to be very inviting.We all enjoyed the interesting decor, plants and landscaping that set off the authentic features of this older house. It was great to have puzzles available. The details about parking could have been a little more clear (such as specifically stating that it's street parking). We were able to find parking within 2-3 blocks every time it was needed.
