Very nice house for my group to stay in. We are all traveling by motorcycle and like to have a nice house to use as base camp to come back to for supper and rest would recommend this house to stay in.

This is a fairly nice house for a group to stay in. Being an older house, we have to give it some leeway. However, arriving at the house with the heat turned off and inside temp of 60 degrees wasn’t a warm welcome. Also, simple things could make this stay better, such as oiling the doors so they don’t all squeak, making sure the pots and pans are clean (we had to wash some things before using them, as they had food stuck to them), and making sure the bathroom doors closed easily. Also, there is no deposit for this unit. We had to pay the full amount nearly a full year in advance. That seems harsh and unreasonable.

This property was extremely clean. It was large and cozy and adorable. Plenty of space in the living room and dining room for relaxing, playing games and eating. There is also a really cute porch that we sat out on and had dinner one evening. You can actually walk to the Lake front, which we also did. The yard was large enough for us to play bocci ball and other outdoor games. I communicated with the host a few times and she responded quickly and efficiently. This property is close to Bayfield (and Madeline Island is just a ferry ride away) and Ashland.

There were 7 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out. The only issue was the beds in the office only because the bathroom is in that room so lack of privacy. However, it wasn't advertised as a bedroom so description was on point. I appreciated the first floor bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of kitchen and dining space, and the kids (young teens) loved the cozy oversized sofa. Bathrooms were nice enough, plenty of hot water. The location was fantastic, within walking distance of the grocery store, lake shore, and a nice cafe. There was a farmer's market held down the block, and an outdoor music festival with food trucks as well just a block away. Bayfield was an easy, short drive. The only other thing I would say is bring plastic wrap, zip lock bags or aluminum foil if you choose to cook as there was none, but dishes, utensils, etc were well stocked. Overall, a great stay! Would recommend.

Kitchen was set up wonderfully and a dining room for us to sit at with games. Bedrooms were bigger than expected and comfortable.

The home was perfect for our group. We used as base camp for a long h weekend hiking. The kitchen was well stocked, we enjoyed the large dining table for breakfast in the morning and games in the evening. The living room was comfortable with ample seating. Everyone reported the beds were comfortable. Rebecca was very responsive, offered ideas on local dining. We would definitely rent again!

Beautiful house. Front and back porches were great for hanging out with the family. Kitchen is well stocked with supplies- pots, pans, bowls, dinner wear. The location is great- walkable to all things a vacation needs including a beach.

Great Place

Thise was a great place to stay, very quiet. Walking distant to a couple good restaurants. We liked the off-street parking. And most of all the house was very roomy and comfortable.
