Escape to the Lost Sierra away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you're looking for rejuvenation or quality family time, this is the place! Cozy up around the fireplace, play some games, read a book or simply disconnect and enjoy the silence. This roomy 2,800 sq. ft home has been recently updated with our guests needs in mind. Located within 1 mile of Davis Lake where you can spend a lazy afternoon fishing, kayaking or paddle boarding. If it is golf you prefer, Grizzly Ranch Golf course is just 7 minutes away and is ranked in the top 100 greatest public courses in the nation in 2021 Golf Digest. Not to mention 4 other golf courses in close proximity! Maybe you want to explore Graeagle? It just a short 1/2 hour drive away. Or sip a craft beer at Brewing Lair in Blairsden. For those people that want to explore what Plumas County has to offer, there are many great places to see such as Frazier Falls, Lakes Basin or Sardine Lake.
Hiking, biking and wildlife viewing is plentiful in the area during spring, summer and fall. In fact near the Davis Lake dam you will notice the bald eagle nest. During the winter months at the lake, you can spend a peaceful afternoon ice fishing or snowshoeing. For the adrenaline junkies bring your snowmobiles - there are plenty of places to go nearby!

Place was tucked off the beaten path, quiet, fun, plenty for the kids and dog to do when we were there. Having the kids downstairs is awesome. Kitchen stocked with plenty of utensils. Big lining room for all to play games and relax. Fire pit and grill was rad. Nice relaxing spot.

A group of guys stayed together to play golf at nearby Grizzly Ranch and the beds, (even the pull out couch) were comfortable and it worked perfectly for our group. Plenty of room for friends to stop by for dinner after the rounds.

Cozy Mountain Getaway

We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at Rocky Cliff Retreat. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and perfectly nestled in the beautiful Sierra Mountains. The owner was very approachable and responsive, which made everything smooth from start to finish. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting and cozy atmosphere. A few mosquitos here and there, but nothing that took away from a great stay. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous home away from home

This was a beautiful home. It has everything that we needed during our stay. The owners put a lot of thought and effort into their home as to what their guests would need. It felt like we stayed at a nice hotel with kitchen amenities. We were lucky and had a white Christmas this year. The UGG blankets in the beds were one of the best part about the home. It was so warm and comfortable. I had to wrap up in the blanket and lay down in front of the wood stove It was so cozy! I really don’t have anything bad to say about the house. It was perfect!

This was a family get-away with our son ans hus family that included our infant grandson. The home us very well appointed and EXTREMELY clean! There's no need to bring much bcuz this home has it all. Beds & linens are luxurious! The beds anlilux for ypbring

The home was absolutely beautiful, the pictures do not do them justice. Serene beautiful setting, easily accommodated our family of 8 with room to spare. Host has thought everything, the towels, UGG pillows and bedding to the fully stocked kitchen. Only downfall was we wish we would have booked home for a longer stay. Can’t wait to come back and experience this home in the winter months and snow.

Cozy place out in the woods. Stayed here with my 4 grown adult children and my parents . There’s 1 bedroom on the mail floor and two down stairs. It would have been nice if the other bathroom was downstairs to accommodate those two bedrooms but other than that it was nice

Perfect for 4 of golfers. Super close to Grizzly Ranch. Nice and quiet with a fire pit and BBQ on the deck. Very private and comfortable. I would stay again and recommend this house.

Great vintage vibe cabin

Close to the lake only 15 min to town. Downstairs bedrooms nicely decorated. Very comfortable, loved having a second living space for the kids.

Very Comfortable

Was a really hot stretch of weather but having the downstairs so cool helped a lot and it cooled enough that we could use a fan in the upper bedroom. The house is well appointed, clean and plenty of room to spread out.
