Inside the Home:
Step into a bright, open-concept living and dining area that flows effortlessly onto a screened-in porch—ideal for al fresco meals or evening cocktails. The fully equipped kitchen features a double oven, oversized refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, prep sink, and a unique piano-shaped island that seats up to 10 guests. A separate coffee and wine bar includes a Keurig, drip coffee maker, and a temperature-controlled beverage fridge.

Each of the four bedrooms is thoughtfully designed for comfort:

Two primary bedrooms are spacious rooms with en-suite bathrooms and king-sized beds.

A third bedroom with a king sized bed and full walk-in closet.

A fourth bedroom with a fun triple bunk and a king-sized daybed—perfect for kids or extra guests!

House was great for 9 adults and 1 baby. Great pool and location. Grill didn’t work. Washing machine didn’t work consistently which is hard when you are required to wash towels before you checkout. Overall a good stay.

The pictures do not do this home or island justice! It was absolutely perfect. Immediate and helpful communication from the owners and the island club for every question we had throughout the week and before. Very helpful contacts and advice for excursions, getting to and from the island, groceries, etc. home was clean and beautifully decorated. Cannot say enough about this stay! Book it, you will not be disappointed!

Great communication with Jeff. House is perfect. Many houses weve stayed in on island will have a few kitchen amenities but often missing things, this house had it all. Elevator was helpful for luggage and groceries. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Will stay here again.

The hosts have been amazing with accommodating our group and platinum communication. The house was outfitted perfectly with a kitchen that our family of cooks really enjoyed! The house was very clean and well maintained and the hosts made sure we knew where to find everything and how everything worked. Everything is pretty, comfortable and just what we hoped for! The island is really beautiful and it was fun to be secluded and private. It takes good planning but there are also amazing service providers that make everything really easy.

We had a fantastic stay at Turtle Cove! The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay on the island for a week. We had two families with 4 adults and 5 kids and had plenty of room for all. We enjoyed the pool and roof top crow’s nest for viewing the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We would highly recommend this well maintained property. Wonderful!

This house was fantastic! We highly recommend! We came with family and our three kids. The kids room was perfect! They had all the amenities we needed/could’ve wanted! The hosts did such a great job of communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. We had such a wonderful time on the island!! We spent the mornings at the beach and afternoons at the pool. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation!

Turtle Cove Paradise!!

Our 3rd time on North Captiva and we hit the jackpot. The house was brand new and beautiful. Was stocked with everything we needed and more. The outdoor space and the pool were fantastic. We enjoyed a lot of family time in that area. Communication with the owners before and during our stay was great. Would highly recommend Turtle Cove and the homeowners to anyone!

Family Vacation

This was our second time on the island and now our forever vacation! We absolutely loved our stay at Turtle Cove! Our group of 7 (3 different families) had plenty of space and enjoyed every second we spent there! The house was clean and just as advertised! The pool was AMAZING and we spent every afternoon in it soaking in the sun and family time! Jeff and Sandra were easy to get ahold of and communicated extremely well and made the planning process so easy! Do yourself a favor and visit North Captiva and this house, you won’t regret it!

Beautiful Home

Our group consisted of 3 couples – all friends from our college days. The house was perfect for us! Both the house and pool are beautiful; and the owners were very helpful! One of the women in our group is a self-proclaimed “pool snob” and she could not have been more impressed with the pool. Everything was clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this house!

Turtle Cove, North Captiva Island

Turtle Cove was exactly as advertised and then some! The house was amazing, the view was amazing and the beaches are breathtaking! Jeff was and Sandra were fantastic hosts and extremely attentive and gracious hosts! The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were awesome. The bathrooms were luxurious and well stocked! The kitchen and living room spaces were also fantastic and had everything needed to make a gourmet meal! The pool was resort like with chairs to lounge in and lots of towels!If you’ve never been to North Captiva Island I would suggest planning a trip to the hidden gem and stay at Turtle Cove!Jeff and Sandra, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us in paradise!

Another day in Paradise

This was our first trip back to North Captiva after Hurricane Ian, and the impacts are still very visible. We had an outstanding week, and Jeff & Sandra’s home is perfect. This is our sixth trip to the island and by far our favorite house. The upper level porch and giant sliders make for an excellent indoor/outdoor living situation. The house is equipped with everything you need, and it is all in great condition. The pool bar area is a lovely bonus—especially for work outs and watching tv while enjoying the water. North Captiva Island is a Florida gem not to be missed, and Turtle Cove (house) is a great way to spend your vacation.

Beautiful Home Seconds From The Beach

Wow! We loved every moment of our stay at Turtle Cove. The home was large enough for our two families of 4. (Two adults and two children per family) and the kids loved watching the tortoises cross the driveway. The home is just right around the corner from the beach that is absolutely pristine. Sunsets were the best at the entrance of Bartlett and were breath taking. We loved the island vibe and did not mind one bit that work was taking place on the island to bring it back to it’s beautiful self. We will definitely be back!! A few things to note for future guests/owner - The pool definitely was not cleaned prior to our arrival but was cleaned the day before we checked out. The kids did not mind it but it was some what of a turn off for the adults. Definitely bring something to clean your dishes with, such as a sponge or your chosen item you normally use at home. We did include this in our grocery delivery with Debby and was a huge miss on our part. Thank you, Jeff and Sandy for hosting us! We cannot wait to be back again next year!

Hello! We first discovered the beauty of North Captiva Island in 2012, and it quickly became a very special place for our family. We live in Michigan full-time, but we visit the island as often as we can.

Our family has been part of the North Captiva vacation rental community since 2021. We originally purchased a home on the island, Hakuna Matata, in 2021 and enjoyed sharing it with guests from all over the country. We eventually sold Hakuna Matata and had the opportunity to build our current home, Turtle Cove, which we are excited to share with you.

We have been vacation-rental hosts in Lewiston, Northern Michigan, since the fall of 2018, so hosting has become something we truly enjoy and take great pride in. It has been our pleasure to welcome so many wonderful guests and help families create special vacation memories.

We are very hands-on owners and make it a priority to personally communicate with each of our guests. We also travel to North Captiva approximately every three months to spend time at Turtle Cove, check on the home, and make sure everything is being maintained to the standard we expect. We want you to arrive and find Turtle Cove in the same beautiful condition we would want for our own family.

After more than a decade of visiting North Captiva, we have come to appreciate everything that makes this island so unique—from the beautiful beaches and wildlife to the peaceful, laid-back island lifestyle. We love sharing this special place with our guests and hope you fall in love with North Captiva just as we did.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

We chose North Captiva Island because it offers something that is hard to find—a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With no cars or busy roads, the island has a peaceful, laid-back atmosphere that immediately makes you feel like you’re on vacation.

We first discovered North Captiva in 2012 and have been part of the island’s vacation-rental community since 2021. We love exploring by golf cart, relaxing at the beach, fishing, watching dolphins and manatees, searching for shells, and walking the island’s nature preserve. Every visit brings something new to discover.

When we built Turtle Cove, we designed it around the things we love most. Jeff and I enjoy cooking and entertaining, so the kitchen is fully equipped with a double oven, two sinks, and a wine and coffee bar with a wine refrigerator. Under the house, you’ll find an entertainment area with a bar, TV, small refrigerator, and comfortable seating—perfect for gathering with family and friends.

We also added a private elevator to every level of the home for convenience and to make Turtle Cove more comfortable for guests who may have difficulty with stairs.

And don’t miss the Crow’s Nest at the top of the house! It offers spectacular 360-degree views of the island and surrounding water and is one of our favorite spots for morning coffee, sunsets, or simply taking in the beauty of North Captiva.

We built Turtle Cove to share the peaceful, carefree island lifestyle we love with our guests. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Turtle Cove is a large, beautiful home designed to give everyone plenty of space to relax, reconnect, and enjoy quality time together. What makes it unique is that you truly get the best of both worlds—everything you need for an amazing vacation without ever having to leave the house, while still being just a short golf cart ride from the beach.

Our private heated pool is perfect for relaxing, swimming, and enjoying the sunshine. When you’re ready for a beach day, we provide everything you need to make it easy and enjoyable, along with convenient access to the beach path.

Turtle Cove was also designed for entertaining. The fully equipped kitchen, wine and coffee bar, comfortable gathering spaces, and downstairs entertainment area with a bar, TV, refrigerator, and seating give everyone a place to gather. Our private elevator provides easy access to every level, and the Crow’s Nest offers incredible 360° views of the island and surrounding water.

We’ve put a lot of thought into the details because we want Turtle Cove to feel less like a vacation rental and more like your own private island home.
