Outer Banks Cottage in KDH/2 min drive to beach

Welcome to the OBX! This home is conveniently located on mile post 5.5, central to anywhere you want to visit on your stay. With 4 bedrooms, 6 beds, 3 full baths, game room, and laundry on premises, this is a perfect place for the entire family(or two). We are only half a mile from the ocean, and steps away from the sound and the amazing multiuse paths on bay drive. Everything easily walkable. ALL DOGS WELCOME, with backyard fenced! Come stay and see what SunBURRnt and Sandy can offer you.

There are two large living spaces, one upstairs and one down. Downstairs also has a king bedroom, while essentially its own private bathroom at night. Upstairs has the kitchen with new granite countertops, stainless appliances, and is very spacious. Upstairs also has 3 bedrooms, the king bed master suite, a bunk room for the kids, and a, additional queen guest bed. There are 3 full bathrooms and an outdoor shower.

Guests will have access to the entire home.

I am available at any moment to help guests.

Great location with adequate space

This location was great for us. It was in a quiet neighborhood and we had access to everything we needed. The property manager responded quickly and was very accommodating when the family wanted to stay an extra night. I have added this to my favorite spots to stay. It was outlet first time to the are but won’t be our last.

First OBX stay

First time visiting the Outer Banks and this place was a great place to stay for our 3 families. Walkable to the beach and sound. Central to drive north and south to points of interest. When we had issues with the property Shawn promptly got them taken care of. Thanks for the stay!

Its a great place to stay, especially with Kids. Its a prime location and easy accessible for all attractions. This property has lot of utensils if you prepare to cook Make sure you carry the Shower gel, Shampoo and Pods/Powder for washing, it is not available in the property

OBX Family Stay

We loved the home and it was perfect for our family. The beach is close by, short car drive or a nice long walk away. Our stay was wonderful, great hospitality by Shawn.

Outer Banks Property

House, location, space were great! The host was super nice and helpful in the booking process. Bring your own towel and shampoo if you have more than 8 people. Other than that, the house was great!!

Beautiful Getaway Home

My wife, daughter and her fiancée stayed at this cute and quiet home. It had everything you could need and Shawn the owner was the best at communicating with us. The only issue was the downstairs was cold despite the heat being on, but it was great and I have nothing but amazing things to say about the home and the owner. We will be visiting more and more as long as Shawn owns this property. It was an awesome Valentine’s Day for my wife and our daughter. Thanks Shawn for everything!

Celebration weekend success

We had a wonderful stay this weekend. The host Shawn was very kind . Had Quick responses to the questions I had. The house was a great fit for two families. We will most definitely come back.

Had a great time! It was a nice little walk to the sound and had plenty of room for parking. All the rooms were nice and the deck was fun to hang out on.

Our family has been obsessed with visiting the Outer Banks since we were children. This is our very first property ever purchased down there, and holds a close place to our heart. We want to share our piece of heaven with all of our guests.

We are perfectly situated on mile post 5.5 in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, centrally located to any activity that you and your group have planned. SunBURRnt and Sandy is on a street the ends in a stop light, making crossing the main highway very convenient.
